I ended up buying a second CD, one that never leaves my car. Where did this artist come from? It doesn't even matter, but apparently she has a story to tell! The title of the CD, the CD cover, and the first line you hear when you pop the CD in makes you aware of what this entire project is going to be about. Shonda tells a story that evolves with each cut. I found myself relating to a very large percentage of the messages she was relaying on these songs. Then, when I read the credits and realized that she wrote 12 out of 14 songs, PLUS she did her own background vocals and instrumentation... I IMMEDIATELY became a fan. I urge all of you to pick this up. IF you like neo-soul, urban gospel, or just need some inspiration and encouragement, don't leave this website without purchasing this CD. You will definitely end up Thinking About These Things: the positive aspects of life, regardless of what you've been through. I love Shonda English. Dave
