Terrible product!

We tried to sync the dash cam to my phone and even the Geek Squad member and couldn't. I researched and found that syncing to your phone was a big problem. I contacted Thinkware and they asked for specific information which I forwarded to them. I never got any reply after that. I got a refund and purchased something else. The Geek Squad rep in Aiea was outstanding!!! 5 Stars to his effort to assist in any way.

Disappointed user

Currently it records intermittently. Software difficult to navigate. Unable to connect product with Thinkware app.(iPhone) Had traffic incident the other day, and cam did not record event. Customer support impossible. Look elsewhere. I intend to discard this product and change to another brand.

Don’t waste your money!

It almost always stops recording about 1-2 seconds before an incident and starts again right after. I almost got hit by a chair that flew out of a truck and bounced around on the street and when I check the camera when I got home, it stopped recording just before the chair almost hit me and then recorded again after i was down the road. . Couldn’t even see the license plates of truck. You also have to be in your vehicle and your phone connected to the dash cam to view videos. If you want to view anything outside your vehicle, you have to wait in vehicle while the video downloads to the app for later viewing.

Mine died

Mobile app was useless, took another month to finally figure out the reason I couldnt connect was the thing main camera is dead. Customer support said call Thinkware. Just sucks because now Im out of the 90 day warranty. Basically I installed a piece of garbage.

Cannot connect

I’ve tried to call Thinkware but the listed number does not work and no response to the email.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with CarPlay and the app connection.
Unfortunately, in order to properly connect to the app/dashcam, you will have to temporarily disable CarPlay in your phone settings, as It will interfere with the camera's connections. However, once you have finished using the app features you can disconnect and re-enable CarPlay. Please note, that our development team is currently working on an update to get the Camera and CarPlay features to work simultaneously.
