I will buy any marvel movie that comes out in a steelbook. Thor is a good movie and definitely worth buying the Steelbook!!!

The discs were not rattling in the case. Packaging was not damaged. The movie is great.

I bought this and watched it when it first came out... but I must have been distracted while watching it the first time because I didn't go back to it until I was watching some of the newer Avengers movies. I was confused about some of the story line and decided to go back and buy all the Marvel movies and start watching them in order. I was told that I didn't remember this movie because it was so bad.... but after watching it (I think for the 2nd time) I really liked it! I love the humor that is put in on occasion to help offset the seriousness of the storyline. There were some parts that I felt were a little over the top, even for Marvel, but I think the movie was really well done. Pro tip: don't watch the Thor movies out of order or some of the important parts of the storyline will not make sense! ;) Oh... and bonus features on all these movies are totally worth watching!!

Thor - The Dark World? Very cool, but clearly significantly different in tone from the first Thor film. I attribute that a lot to the change in directors. With Kenneth Branagh directing the first film, there was an element of Shakespearean tragedy to that film. Evidently, Branagh had been briefly signed on to direct the sequel but left several months into the development of the second film. I'm glad for the change because I think director Alan Taylor really managed to capture the dark tone incredibly well. And from a character standpoint he was able to build on the characters of the first film by giving them all more of a brooding depth that had been lacking from the first movie. Visually, I thought the movie was stunning. The Dark World of Svartalfheim really lived up to the billing. I think that Iceland was the perfect location to capture that stark reality, and it showed how a real location can help so much in setting a scene. Taylor also managed to expand on Asgard from a visual standpoint without getting too showy. From a story standpoint? I think that Taylor managed to establish a very real sense of danger and jeopardy with this story. And doing that draws the viewer in and makes them care about the characters. I got that with this film. The mid-credits scene was great! The Infinity Stones are going to be a cool story arc that I think Marvel Studios is going to take their time to develop. And Benecio del Toro as The Collector? I never saw that coming!!!

Trying to finish out my steelbook collection of all the MCU! $15 is a steal my guy!!!

Marvel never disappoints in there line of movies. Except this one.... it was decent at best.Have seen them all multiple times.

Awesome sequel and an awesome 4k steelbook. Loki should have had its own movie as well, is not enough what you get for him.

Good movie. Simple case and packaging. Nothing fancy or extra here. Digital version is nice as long as that service stays open.

I love this movie pretty much anything marvel is so amazing so this fits perfect weather what I want even went on a marvel cruise

Not the best Thor film, but I do love it! And this steel book is just as beautiful!

4K is not as eye popping as the newer movies, but still has nice subtle enhancements! Also, I do enjoy the metal case.

I know alot of people do not like this movie but as a Thor fan, I thought it was great.

I absolutely love the 2nd part of the Thor Trilogy! It expands on the Thor/Loki dynamic.
