Thor: The Dark World [SteelBook] [Digital Copy] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] [Only @ Best Buy] [2013]

Excellent movie. I have always enjoyed superhero movies and this is no exception. If you enjoy marvel universe movies then this is the thrill ride you have been waiting for.

This movie was better than the first movie. The plot was simpler and easier to follow. The action sequences were big and well orchestrated.

Thor:The Dark World, as part of the Avengers series is excellent ! Can't wait for part 3!

Movie is way better than the first and keeps you wanting more. I love how they're building the suspense with each movie. I am disappointed there wasn't a digital copy (hard) in the case when it has 3 slots for disc but only fills up two

Kind of a letdown but still very entertainment and influential to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Many people write off Thor: The Dark World as the weakest of the Marvel movies which I feel is a bit of an unfair critique. It expands on the Thor universe and takes us off world to visit other planets and see unique design elements. It does lean a bit too heavily on the comedy aspect and doesn’t do anything to fundamentally change the characters. It does feel that the sole purpose of the film is to introduce a new Infinity stone and doesn’t put enough focus on establishing the villain. With that said, if you own all the other movies on 4K, this is a decent set to own. You get the 4K disc and the regular blu ray. There are no new special features other than what we got with the original release. You also get an HD digital redemption code.

It’s not as terrible as a movie as people make it out to be. I was worried that this wouldn’t get a 4K version because of the negativity surrounding this movie, but I’m glad I was wrong. However, it’s a shame Thor: Ragnarok doesn’t have a Steelbook to match the design of this Steelbook and Thor 1’s Steelbook. The outline of these Steelbooks is kind of colored like Mjolnir.

While not one of the strongest MCU entries, the film explores several characters more thoroughly than in the first film. Superb picture and sound as well. The special features on the discs are extremely light, but that’s nothing new when it comes to Disney home video releases.
