This is a great wheel and everything seems to be authentic I don't know how to update firmware and I also struggled to learn the wheel in the game F1 2021 which is great. I'm starting to get the hang of it now and I have all winter to learn more. It is a learning curve for a rookie and retired.

I’m coming from G923 and I like how much more responsive the T598 is. I can correct my mess ups much more effectively and prevent spin outs (I am not that very good and only race single player). I can definitely feel the weight of the wheel around corners. I tried GT7, ACC, Wreckfest, and Dirt 4 with a few different settings on the wheel. I liked the FFB-2 setting the most on the wheel. It was in D (Default) at first and FFB in GT7 felt very light. Overall, GT7 felt the weakest compared to other games I tried and least optimized for the wheel, which is sad - as that’d be the game I’d use it the most. That said, it didn’t have the oversteering issue I have on G923, and I didn’t have to correct myself all the time. That is a huge plus. I have also tried Moza R3 a couple months ago and I did really like it. I played Forza Motorsport 8 on it and again Dirt 4, and Forza Horizon 4 & 5. That one sells for $100 less and it’s around 3Nm. But, that’s only XBox and I like GT7 more than FM8 at this time. And Force horizon doesn’t work too well with wheels in my opinion. It seems to be more made for controllers. Lastly, the mounting holes on the wheel base and the adapter TM provides doesn’t match up with my Insignia wheel stand (basic wheel stand). In summary, despite the short comings, I like the T598, and in many aspects it is a good upgrade to G923 (~$300), and it has great potential. But it’s a shame Thrustmaster and Polyphony has not optimized it for GT7 BEFORE they released this wheel- since PS5 has very limited direct drive wheel options.

Great setup!! Use it for sim racing on PS5 and its really responsive and great sensitivity made me feel as I am inside a car pushing limit on track.

Believe it or not, this improved my racing skills. I went from an older/competitor wheel/pedal set and instantly improved as the feedback and realism makes it better to understand what's going on in GT7. Having issue getting the firmware to update using my PC but not sure that's a T598 issue. If you do not have a solid rig to mount this on the torque makes it challenging. When I replace that I am certain I will be even faster in the games.

I;ve had this wheel for about a month. I upgraded from a Logi g29. This wheel requires a little more set up that the g29. But once you have it dialed in it's amazing.

Good wheel at good value. People complain about the base being tall and blocking the screen but is fantastic on vr.

I'm genuinely impressed with this product! I moved from a PS4/5 TM80 to this. To say Night and Day difference is an understatement. This is arguably the best bang for the buck when considering direct drive wheels (no internal belts). The pedals are... the standard pedals, nothing super special there; but they do what they're supposed to do. This rig is all about the wheel!

Good direct drive wheel for the cost it’s very detailed when driving, the desktop clamps it comes with keeps the wheel nice and secure, there is no flex in the wheel to base connection, the pedals are decent the brake feels soft, upgrades that will be out soon that should make a big difference, overall it’s fantastic for its price point.

Coming from a t150, this feels so much better. 5nm constant torque, but able to boost higher to give those nuanced feelings of kerbs, and bumps with opponents. Paddles feel nice and have a solid thunk when activated and stop when activated instead of travelling further like most other wheels. Gear jolt feelts awesome, especially when connected to a full rig where it jolts the whole rig. The pedals are metal and able to be removed from the foot plate for full customization, and easy mounting to rigs. While its just a traditional brake pedal for now until they release a load cell pedal upgrade, i already feel more in control and am getting better lap times than even with the t3pm set my friend has. If youre wondering wether you should buy this or not, you should stop thinking, and just buy it. You eill not regret your purchase. The main advice i have, once you buy it, go to thrustmasters support page for the bundle, and it has all the settings, game adoption, how to update, specs and measurements, it has all the info youll need to set it up and get the best out of it and they are constantly updating it.

After waffling around on a first wheel for mixed PC/PS5 use, I ended up deciding to spend a little more vs a G923, and I'm glad I did. This thing is awesome, and makes GT7 on PS5 and ACC on PC loads more fun than using a controller. Preset levels are handy for when the kids want to play.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, he loves it. It’s quite similar to driving a vehicle. And I feel like it would be great for beginner drivers, before getting on the road.

Very solid driving wheel for its price category. The build quality feels very premium and driving in it feels nice and tactile. Its likely worth its price premium but always good to get on a sale or open box.

Great steering wheel that really allows you to feel the car and the springs from the gas pedals help control the gas pedal as well. Great product.

Best Racing wheel for PS5. Great response and Force Feedback.

Motor is great, Size is very Bulky and Tall for what it is, Pedals feel great but not heavy enough to not slide on carpet.

Great wheel besides disconnection issues do to power supply issues Other than that it’s perfect.

It's a great wheel for someone who is upgrading from a g29. It's my first direct drive wheel. It helps you feel what the car is doing better. Only gripe is no load cell brake pedal. But i hear it's on the way.

Great up grade for any one looking to get into direct drive

This is an amazing wheel especially when you consider the next closest competitor is $300 more and you get more in the box with the thrustmaster. GT7 optimization leaves a lot to be desired but time will hopefully make this no longer an issue.
