I love the tidal service because of the master audio!!! I do not like the fast that the best buy activation code I received in my email does not work. opened chat for support and was referred to call 800 number.

MQA Masters are a gimmick as is the HiFi.If something was recorded bad it will sound bad no matter what. Garbage in, garbage out. Once you know that this entire industry is disingenuous you will tread wisely. For context, think of it this way. For the same $25 a month you can have Netflix and Prime Video in 4K and here you get to have a few 24/96 songs. Do you really think that Tidal, Spotify etc were paying the top dollar for original masters. MQA was supposed to be just that but some preliminary investigations proved otherwise. Stay with a BASIC subscription unless you get a promo deal as I did to try it out.

tidal is probably the best service going! i’m not sure i have good enough equipment to appreciate the hi res.

The song catalog for my preferences was no better than other services (three stars for average). The playlists and themes provided and suggested by Tidal completely miss my rock preference (one star). The thing I like about streaming services is discovering new songs and artists in the genres I like. It you like classic rock, metal, hair bands, rockabilly and the like you are not in Tidal's target market. The songs you know and like are there but playlist and themed radio selection is missing. It makes more sense to just play from my library than to pay them. For other musical tasted this may be the perfect service.

The quality of the music is awesome and the products is just as what is advertised. Enjoyed Tidal very much!
