The Mobile App Ruins the Experience

The Tineco FloorOne S3 assembled quickly and does so without the need for tools. The Tineco FloorOne S3 has an average amount of clean water and gray water capacity in it's separate reservoirs. The display on the Tineco FloorOne S3 is big and vibrant. All of these aspects made for what was expected to be a completely high-end experience. But the problem is ... the mobile App. We were able to test out the Tineco FloorOne S3 skipping the mobile app setup - which was a good thing. It cleaned our large Kitchen (tiled flooring), Great Room and entry Hallway (both Hardwood) with ease and with spectacular results. The included cleaning solution is good stuff. We were able to clean all three areas with roughly 20 to 30 remaining power capacity in the battery when it was all said & done. Thumbs up! It's very good that Tineco included an extra roller brush and filter in the kit. But here's where the entire experience went horribly wrong. The mobile App. We tried to connect the Tineco FloorOne S3 to two different mobile phones and our home network with constant network connectivity interruptions. I was curious to learn if there was 1) a way to lower the volume on the voice prompting 2) determine if there was an easy way to update the units firmware and check its status and 3) learn if there were any features not readily apparent in the scant documentation that accompanied the unit inside the box. Unfortunately, I was unable to successfully connect the Tineco FloorOne S3 via WiFi and I've been unable to find any helpful resource to troubleshoot the issue. This is why I am rating this product as Poor. The dependency on the mobile App is apparent and not having it function easily, completely ruined the entire experience. Pros: Solidly constructed Good cleaning performance Good battery performance Nicely organized charging base with onboard storage for the extra components Cons: Obnoxiously loud voice prompting with no onboard way to lower or even mute the volume of that voice with a simple touch Clunky and tedious mobile App that simply won't stay connected throughout the setup process I cannot recommend this product to anyone at this time because the software side of the experience was completely frustrating. Tineco should have used Bluetooth pairing like most other, high-end IOT devices.

My only complaints are because my house is so big, I am having to refill and dump more than I'd care to and theres about a 1 to 1.5 gap between where the mop cleans and the wall. I do wish it would get right up against the wall. But those things arent enough to make me give it less than 5 stars because its still pretty awesome!

No rug vacuum.

Cleans great but terrible battery

At first it was really great, especially for an active household with 2 large dogs! Cleaning up their messes or dirty paw prints worked so well on tile, hardwood and LVP flooring. I use it about 2x a week. The biggest downside for me is the battery/charging. After 6 months I noticed it wouldnt last as long so I has to charge it twice to cover our house (1500sq ft). Now it’s to the point where it wont charge and gets stuck at 2%. No matter if I cleaned the dock or the vacuum itself or docked and re-docked the vacuum or tried another outlet, it is completely unresponsive to charging. We originally paid $400 and I really dont think its worth it for how little it lasted. Im really disappointed in this product as it cleans really well, it is just the battery/charging is terrible. I would have bought a corded one instead or a different brand if I knew how bad it was over time. Multiple Reddit threads on this same issue too.

Lack of Customer Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 2 Tineco IFloor3 machines. I loved the first one so much I purchased a 2nd one. Well after 6 months the 2nd one broke and it took me 2 long aggravating weeks to get a label to ship the broken machine back for repair and then it took them 2 more weeks to ship it back. I did not check it out when it was returned as I was starting to have issues with my first machine. I wanted to identify all the issues and finally made a claim for repair on that one. Then I took the "repaired" one out and used it and found out was not fixed, So now have 2 machines not working. Then they stopped having a live person answer their phones. No way to contact them except for email. After weeks and weeks of trying I finally got them on a live chat. Then they finally agreed to send me replacement machines. Well I just used one of the replacement machines and it too is broken!! Have puddles of water all over my floors. Now they have gone silent and will not respond to my emails again. I would not purchase from this company. They have an F rating with the BBB for a reason.

Horrible customer service

I have seriously gotten at least 10 people to buy it. It lasted 2 years and recently broke and when I turn it on it says “contact Tineco customer service.” I take great care of my machine according to the instructions. I contacted Tineco for the last 3 weeks with NO response. I sent them all the required info and followed up at least 5 times. I highly do NOT recommend this company due to their terrible customer service (Tineco) and a machine this expensive is not worth it if it breaks after 2 years.

Worst customer service and backing of warranty

My unit quit working 3 days after the two-year warranty mark based on the purchase date however, I didn’t receive the unit for almost a week so technically the product should have still been under warranty. The company would not budge. They offered a small discount on their repair service and then also offered a free roller brush (for a product that isn’t working). Buyer beware! The product doesn’t last more than two years.
