    Won’t charge after 6 weeks of light use

    Battery won’t charge even though we ve only had it about 6 weeks and have used it sparingly. Best Buy only gives you a 2 week window to return, so I am now dealing with Tineco directly. Im hoping for the best, but have not been impressed with their customer service so far

    Cleaned the floor ok but not as well as i would have expected. I would have returned but threw out the box. The first use was good, after that it kept telling me to clean the dirty water container even if it was already clean. Don't waste your money!

    I’ve been using this for about two weeks and now and really wanted to put it through the paces before reviewing and I must say the Tineco passed everything I came up with. First impression was great. Easy to assemble and came with an extra roller, cleaning solution and an awesome docking station. The docking station was a nice touch as it keeps residual moisture (from use) off the floor, charges the unit and provides storage for everything. Run time...I get about 30 minutes per charge, the box says around 35 so no issues there. Recharges in a couple of hours. Has an LED display that is easy to read and makes operating it simple. Oh and it talks to you, battery use, bin getting full...it tells you everything. No issues at all cleaning my linoleum, vinyl plank flooring and hardwood. Did a really good job of getting all the water up and the floor dries in a matter of minutes. Handles pet messes with ease. Lightweight and super easy to move and control. My 7 yo loves to use it!! A must have for any home!!

    This works, but not great in corners / edges. I hoped to save time and I love smart tech, but my previous solution of stickvac followed by bona mop works better, faster, with less maintenance. Found this to be more gimmick than value.

    Super Smart Cordless Wet Dry Vac

    I have a mixture of tile and hardwood flooring in my home which presents a constant challenge to keep clean. Vacuuming alone may give you the appearance of clean floors but using a wet vac really shows you just how dirty your floors truly are. I have tried other multi surface floor cleaners but I was unfamiliar with Tineco until now. The Tineco Floor One S3 Extreme wet dry vacuum comes nicely packaged. In the box you find the S3, two extra brush rollers, one extra dry filter, a 9.5 ounce bottle of cleaning solution, a cleaning tool, power adapter, and charging / cleaning base. My first observations are the S3 looks amazing and is well made but the tiny bottle of cleaning solution is a bit of a disappointment. There is a Tineco app that you can download and install. It’s not required but it’s a nice app with a bunch of S3 status information. I do like that the S3 doesn't require much assembly. A roller brush and the filter is already installed in the Floor One. All you just have to do is easily pop on the handle and it’s ready for use other than doing the initial suggested full charging which takes about 4-5 hours. When you’re ready to use the S3 you simply add one capful of the cleaning solution to the clean water tank and then fill with tap water. This tank seems on the small side. Pressing the power button starts the S3 in Auto mode which automatically senses how dirty the floor is and adjust the suction and amount of cleaning solution accordingly. Press the mode button again the S3 switches to Max mode which is maximum suction and solution for deep cleaning. Another press on the mode button and you enter Suction mode. Here the unit only vacs up liquid and does not dispense cleaning solution. Using the S3 is a great experience. This thing is cordless so no wrestling with a power cord. It’s also quiet while doing it’s thing. It does rev up a bit when in Max mode but still much quieter than the competition. I love how evenly it dispenses the cleaning solution and suck it back up thoroughly without creating puddles. The S3 is really interactive as it cleans. It changes suction and solution amounts automatically as it detects dirtier areas on your floor. The display gives you visual feedback through the iLoop smart sensor ring which changes from red to blue as it picks up wet and dry messes. The S3 also has a voice assistant that gives you feedback when you switch modes and a ton of other prompts. I love this feature but I did have a bit of a hard time hearing the voice prompts while the unit was running. I definitely had a sense that the S3 was thoroughly cleaning my floors. The cleaning solution scent is very pleasant. The battery will last about 35 minutes on a full charge. I did run out of clean water and was prompted by the voice assistant. I do wish the tank was larger. Having to refill is a bit of a hassle. I was also prompted when the dirty water tank was full. Emptying the tank sure gives you a sense of how well the S3 works. The water was filthy from floors that appeared to be clean. I used the Floor One on hardwood and tile floors in my house. I found it more effective on hardwood. My tile floors have deeper and wider grout lines which the S3 didn’t seem to fully saturate and clean the grout line but the tile surface sure was clean. It actually picked removed dirt that the competition left behind the day before I tested the Tineco. When done cleaning your floor the S3 has another great feature which is its self cleaning mode. You simply place the S3 on the charging stand and make sure the clean water tank is full of water and the dirty water tank is empty. You then just hit the self clean button and the unit does a thorough cleaning process. The voice assistant tells you when it’s done. I was thoroughly impressed with the Tineco Floor One S3 Extreme. Highly recommended.

    This machine has a horrible quality and worse warranty policy. The battery can not be charged within 8 months because of its quality issue. The ridiculous thing is I have to take the big machine to the FedEx store on this cold holiday season, and what I can get after this is a refurbished one; this means I paid the total price and will use a refurbished one and all of this is because of their bad quality.

    Stopped working after few months

    It was great until it stopped working a few months after the purchase. Contacting customer service, I learned that the motor may have gone bad. After a few emails back and forth with customer service, I was asked to pack and send the malfunctioning unit back to the manufacturer for a fix. Just waiting to see how Tineco would handle the repair job but very disappointed that the unit died within months.

    My entire first floor is hardwood and there is tile in each of the 3 bathrooms. Getting them clean has always consisted of a swiffer wet jet or, when there's a mess, getting down on hands and knees and wiping it up with a cleaner and paper towels. This solves both problems in a compact, high tech package. I have a golden retriever so the floors are vacuumed almost daily. I have used this 1x per week since I got it because it's so simple to use and does such a great job. It doesn't just push things around like the swiffer, it vacuums up any dirt or pet hair and mops the floor at the same time. The digital indicator bar on top shows you battery life and turns from blue to red if you're in a high dirt area, going back to blue when it's not detecting anymore dirt. Battery life is impressive. I've easily been able to complete the downstairs with battery left over (roughly 750sqft). Emptying the water chamber and filling it are easy and there is a removable plastic "filter" that will snag the dog hair so it doesn't get into the water and go down your drain. It's charging base goes completely under the unit because once you're done, you empty the dirty water, put some fresh water in, and have it self clean. That's right, it self cleans!! The fresh water flushes out the lines and cleans the brush head, saving you a lot of work. It comes with an extra filter and brush head, along with a multi use tool to help with cleaning and maintenance. There is a companion app but I deleted it after checking the firmware because it required a lot of permissions and I didn't think a vacuum app needs constant location access among other things. The display on top of the device tells you pretty much everything you need to know so unless you want to remotely monitor the status of self clean or start it cleaning remotely, the app isn't needed. Overall, I never heard of Tineco before this and I am very impressed. It is in line with other high end vacuum companies. I highly recommend this to anyone that has hardwood or tile and is tired of using mops or wipes.

    A Must for Hardwood Floors

    If you are someone that doesn`t have carpet covering your entire house then this product is definitely a must-have! I recently replaced all the carpet on the first story of our home with hardwood floors and as a result had tried numerous mops, swiffers, and Bona products to which none of them compared to this product by Tineco. The first thing I noticed out of the box was how it included absolutely everything I needed plus some as there was no buying extra solution, filters, or pads which was a definite plus. Then as far as the build quality you can tell that it is a high-quality product as it has that sense of being sound, but at the same time is very lightweight for ease of use. Looking at actual performance though is where this thing really stands out. The ease of use to get started was very fluid and quick and upon turning it on right away the display shows the amount of battery left and an outside ring-type indicator shows how clean the floor is based on a red to blue level scale. The other aspect I noticed instantly was how quiet it was because using a vacuum or mop that uses water there always seems to be quite a bit of noise. There are just two of us living in our home though we do have quite a few guests and a playful dog that loves to go outside so our floors are never anywhere near clean. Thus, it did take a couple of trips to empty the dirty water tank and when I did it was amazing how much actual dirt and debris were being picked up even after first sweeping some areas of the floor. There were some spots that were dirtier than others to which you could sense the "smart" aspect kicking in to provide a greater cleaning ability. The voice assistant was another nice additional feature as it points out some of the obvious things to note while cleaning. When it did alert me that the battery was getting low (after about 30 minutes) I simply put it back on it`s cradle which is extremely convenient. The other thing to note is that the end result did not leave any streaks on the floor as the intial water residue after using was very minimal. Overall, I can`t express enough all the positives of this product. My only regret is that I did not get one sooner. The only slight negative to this product is if you are extremely tech-savvy and insist on using the app as it does appear to be a little buggy, but my hope is that it will be fixed eventually though I did not find myself even using the app that much as I was just fascinated with how well the product was working.

    Fun, Efficient, and Lightweight!

    To be honest, I had never heard of Tineco before. So, I was very skeptical. But although I can’t tell whether it’s going to last and keep performing as good in the long run, I can tell you that so far it has not just surpassed all my expectations, but it has also impressed me and my significant other. She is more into cleaning the house than I am. What I am into is technology. This wet and dry vacuum/mopper has impressed her with its efficiency and me with all the bells and whistles. Yes, it not only senses the dirt and wet, but it even gives you some voice feedback. And it comes with an app. I had not seen this type of cleaner with all these smart features. It is self-propelled, which makes it very easy to handle. It doesn’t drive itself like Roomba-like devices, but it certainly cleans better and does more. And who knows in the future, it will self-drive and help us to keep gaining weight while we watch it do the work without hour intervention ;). In the meantime, this is as good as it gets. My house floors are mostly hardwood and tiles with just a small area with carpet. Although we are only 3 people living in it, it is not easy to keep it clean. The S3 was made exactly for those types of floors and it did a great job. We did notice some streaks here and there, but the truth is that it was cleaning so well, that it ended up highlighting the poor job of our mopping before. If you follow the built-in indicator screen, it will come out spotless. Yes, it shows you when the spot needs more cleaning. No more standard mops in this house. Until now, the word fun would have never been used by me in the same sentence where mopping/cleaning was involved. The S3 changed that. I’m saying that it’s fun because I tried it myself. The word used by my 13-year-old and my girlfriend was cool. We all though it was much easier and lighter than anything else we had used before. Battery time was impressive. My house size is not small by any standard, but one charge was enough to complete the job. The only time we had to interrupt was to refill the tank. I just wished it cleaned itself. Oh wait, it does clean itself! At least to a certain extent. I had to move the included docking station to the laundry room because of its self-cleaning feature, which makes more noise than our washing machine in heavy load mode. I can’t call that a con considering what it does. Very happy with it.

    Do not like this product. The mopping is terrible, leave streaks all over. I was unable to connect to WiFi, it says product unavailable. I regret my purchase, Dyson vacuum is better

    Do no buy. It was on sale for a reason. Worst vacuum ever used. Battery last 15 mins and it’s terrible for dog hair. Missed returning by 1 day
