The only solution is to tape the gap. I keep getting water tank errors despite not using the water tank. That started fresh out of the box. For $300+ I would expect a gasket or better engineering to ensure that nothing leaks. I've yet to use the mop/washer feature. I would not be surprised if this was a previously returned item.

Great floor cleaner

Honestly think this cleans better than a traditional mop (without spending hours) and don't have to vacuum before. Just clean out after each time. Fantastic!

Instead of pushing dirty water around like a mop, it sucks up with water as it’s being used and makes the house smell amazing. No need to vacuum or sweep before hand and it has no issues sucking up anything I have came across

Doesn’t leave spots . I don’t use cleaner in the actual water I use a spray cleaner on the floor .

If you have pets that shed alot make sure to vaccum before you use. If you have a house with multiple floors, you might need a charge or two to get all the floors
