I've replaced all of the carpet in my house besides my stairs. I now have hardwood, saltillo tile and ceramic. The solid Brazilian Rosewood, is the most difficult to care for, and that where I hoped this floor cleaner would help the most. I also had high hopes that it would help keep my mexican saltillo tiles clean. I had little doubt that it would do well on my ceramic tile. So let start with my biggest disappointment, the Tineco app and their support. I never got their app to work properly, I sent several emails to their support and received no reply. I tried several different setup methods, all failed to complete. So I won't cover the use of the app with this smart cordless vacuum. But the good news is is the cleaner works pretty well without the app (but they still loose a star). Like I said, I got this to better care for my solid Brazilian Rosewood flooring, about 600sq ft in my connectibg living room/kitchen. I keep the floors well dusted, but damp foot prints, an the invertible kitchen mess, always leaves... a bit of a mess. I know using too much moisture on a solid wood floor is a bad idea, but the box said that the smart cleaner could determine the appropriate amount. As I moved from tile to wood, it looked like it was adjusting, and where the wood was concerned, the about it left behind seemed to evaporate pretty promptly (images 3 & 4), mind you, I live in Phoenix, AZ, where it is dry. In any case image 2 and 6 show a before and after of of the dirtyest area on my floor. I'm very happy with the effort required (minimal) and the results. I found it cleaned best when I used the vacuum horizontally then vertically (90 degree angles of attack). This got into the cracks and crevices better. I used the vacuum for about 45m, changing the water/refilling the cleaning tank 3 times, this is easy to do, and the DWT (dirty water tank), allows you to judge how much gunk has been picked up. It has multiple filters which do a great job os separating out the larger particles. They supply an extra primary filter with the vacuum, as well as an extra roller. Yea! Then I used it on some of my 900sq ft of saltillo tile, much deeper groves and not nearly as smooth. On light dirt it did fine, on dirt within the grout joints, not so well. On scuff marks, little effect. So not so impressed. On my flat ceramic tile it did a great job, but it was not that dirty. But as I said my primary job for this was my wood floors, which I'm happy to say it did an exceptional job. My 6+yr old wood floors look nearly as good as the day I put them in. In fact a friend dropped by after I'd finished and he complimented me on the sheen of the floor. And I didn't have to spend any time on my hands/knees to accomplish this (and I knew it was easy to do it this way again). I'm sure that the app issues will get resolved, but even without it, this is a smart floor vacuum. I've tried two other brands, which disappointed mw with their functionality on my wood floors. This Tienco did a great job, I'm happy to have it!

This is one of the best creations. It has made cleaning my floors so much easier. No more back pain from mopping floors. It’s really easy to use and one of my favorite features is the self cleaning mode. You do still need to clean the area that holds the roller and the dirty water container. The self cleaning mode is to basically clean the roller and the tubing inside the machine as to keep it smelling fresh and clean. The machine itself is super light weight and self propelling. No need to push the machine and you get a better more thorough clean this way. I highly recommend.

I’ve been really happy with this Floor One S3. It vacuums and mops at the same time, which saves me a lot of effort, especially with dogs and daily messes. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the self-cleaning feature is super convenient. My floors look noticeably cleaner with almost no work on my end. Definitely recommend if you want something quick and simple to use.

So is it a vacuum or a hard surface floor cleaner...both of course! The cleaner leaves very little water on the floor because it vacuums it back up. The cleaner floats (almost) effortlessly accross the floor. It comes with the cleaner a charge docking station, extra roller, filter, cleaning wand, bottle of cleaner, clean and dirty water receptacle. I am so pleased with this dynamo, and as pictures speak volumes please check out my pics. There was drywall dust all over in 1st one, I used a shop vac to get up as much as possible and the 3rd is after using the Tineco...you be the judge.

You don’t need to vacuum before using this, but i will always sweep up leaves or big things before using it again. Everything goes into one tank, so you’ll end up having to wipe all the large chunks out if the tube with the cleaning brush. PROS: uses minimal water, light weight, user friendly. Works well for a fast clean, but doesn’t seem to sanitize or polish like the old fashioned hot soapy water mop bucket does; however, it takes a quarter of the time to mop. I think i’ll need to do a monthly deep clean the old fashioned way, but we’ll see. Maybe frequent use will make a deep clean unnecessary. The app is great! CONS: the head doesnt swivel, so it doesn’t get around toilets or between things like my Dyson stick vacuum does. Also, it does well on new dirt/grime, but doesn’t scrub at all. The roller has as much texture as a paint roller. Overall i like it, but not as much as i hoped i would.

This machine is up front about how to operate, refill and clean it. The parts fit into place very easily, and you can't do it 'wrong'. I have been cleaning a poured epoxy floor with a mop and 2 buckets. This machine speeds the process so much, and the floor is so much cleaner than with a mop and bucket - even though the mop is rinsed each time in clean water after cleaning the dirty area. Due to the large space I am cleaning, the clean water tank needs to be refilled 2 or 3 x. But still worth the end results. Very nice mop. I would suggest getting another model with a bigger water tank and dirty tank. It will fill up fast. It cleans well though. And it will tell you if you need to keep cleaning an area. It's nice. The self cleaning is a plus. This mop is great for small rooms. Its vacuum is powerful as well. The wife loves this. Just wished for bigger tanks. And the charge lasts for a while too.

Has made cleaning so much easier! Before I was vacuuming & mopping separately and it took a while. This saves me time and gets the job done quickly. It works great on my white tile floor. The battery lasts a long time & the device communicates and keep me from forgetting to clean or charge. I clean each part thoroughly after each use to avoid smells. Highly recommend!

First, I'd like to say that I am replacing a Bissell Crosswave (1785A) and most of my review of the Tineco S5 is in comparison to the Bissell. I wasn't happy with the edge cleaning or room transitions of the Bissell. And if I went too quickly, it would spit water out when the mop was extended and I pulled it back. I wasn't always happy with the cleaning of the Bissell in general as it seemed to leave dirty tracks quite often even after going over it repeatedly. Full disclosure, I don't clean the floor as often as I should, so the Bissell has quite a job to do. I also probably should have replaced the roller over time, but I cleaned it by hand each use and fully dried it, and it still looks like new. And I am a vinegar solution user, which is said to be a no-no, but after years of vinegar with the Bissell, I noticed no issues with the vinegar solution on the Bissell. I was just about to order a new filter and new rollers for the Bissell and got a wild hair to try something else. I opted for the Tineco S5. I really wanted the corded Steam version, but it didn't edge clean, so opted for this one. With the first use of the Tineco S5, I did vacuum first because it's spring and it's been raining and there are muddy dog prints, which were still there after vacuuming. I used the Bissell 3 days ago and cleaned the whole machine (roller, dirty water and innards of the vacuum) and went over the floor a second time and it appears that the dirt just got redistributed around the floor and it looked terrible. So the Tineco had a pretty dirty floor to clean. What I like!: Noise: The Tineco is much quieter than the Bissell. In fact most people complain that the audio prompts are too loud, but I found it hard to understand what it was telling me, so will likely up the volume in the future if I think that's useful. General cleaning: I think the Tineco S5 did a great job! I feel like it's fully clean and with less effort than I've been using with the Bissell. There were no residual tracks left by the machine, the floor dried quickly and I didn't need to go over each spot nearly as often to get it clean. I did use the included Tineco cleaner and I don't notice any residue, but I will go back to a vinegar solution if I find the Tineco soap begins to leave a residue like the Bona cleaner did. Edge cleaning: I am very happy with the edge cleaning. Yes, it only cleans on one edge, and that's disappointing, but it worked well for me with just the one side and I only had to approach an edge from the other direction a couple of times in order for the right side of the machine to be at the edge. Transitions: It still wasn't perfect at room transitions (raised strips in doorways), but I was able to push the vacuum up to the transition and get it clean without leaving a bunch of water and clumps of wet dog hair like the Bissell. Ease of use: I seemed to clean the areas much faster than with my old Bissell because it's constantly outputting water. I didn't find I had to go over a spot nearly as often to pick up the dirt and it left the floor drier with each pass than the Bissell would - maybe go over a muddy footprint 2-3 times total with the Tineco rather than 5-6 and then again 3-4 times to dry it with the Bissell. Roller: I think the Tineco roller does a much better job at cleaning the floor and not leaving an uneven layer of water behind. I always thought my laminate plank floors were warped the way the Bissell left water on the floor, but I didn't get that at all with the Tineco and the water was evenly damp and left no residual marks from the wheels or the roller anywhere on my floors! Battery life: Yes, the battery does take a long time to charge, but within an hour of unboxing, it was at 75% and I took it for a spin. I did my large kitchen, a hallway and small bathroom all in about 20 minutes and was down to 38% after cleaning the floor and going through the self cleaning mode, so I should be able to do all of the floors I already cleaned, plus the mud room, master bedroom and large bathroom and run the self-cleaning mode all in a single charge. If not, I can certainly break up the cleaning and won't be that disappointed in having to wait for a recharge. Clean up: While the self cleaning mode is just ok, I still hand clean the roller, tanks and base of the machine, which it states clearly to do on the box. Why anyone would leave the dirty tank on the machine and be surprised at the smell that develops is beyond me. But the design of the Tineco makes cleaning easier and faster as there are fewer places behind the roller where hair and other debris gets hung up. I think the self-cleaning mode helps to remove hair and debris from the roller and the machine, making clean up less of a chore. And the included brush helps a bit with cleaning the filter, the dirty tank, and the port to the dirty tank. I always replace the roller after cleaning out everything and run the vacuum to suck as much water from the roller as possible, then remove the roller again to let it air dry; and still did this with the Tineco. I didn't replace the clean water tank during this process because I didn't want water flowing to the roller when I was trying to spin it dry. It seemed to work to remove excess water from the roller as there was more water in the dirty tank, so that worked fine. But the label on the machine says that the "brush" (roller?) shouldn't be submerged or rinsed, yet the instruction manual says to rinse the brush roller. I rinsed it, soaped it, rinsed it thoroughly and spun it dry on the machine so it will dry faster. Voila. What I didn't like (but aren't deal breakers)!: Tank capacity: When I was going through the self-cleaning mode, I ran out of clean water and then the dirty tank was full, so I had to stop twice during the self-cleaning mode to fill the clean tank and empty the dirty tank. I rarely had to refill the clean tank and never had to empty the dirty tank on the Bissell midway through my cleaning of the same area, so it's a little disappointing to have the smaller tank capacities. Cleaning sensor(?): As another reviewer commented, the readout never showed that the floor was dirty, so I had to manually turn on the Max cleaning mode in the dirty paw print traffic area. I noticed where I didn't have the Max cleaning on in that dirtier area, I had to go over it a second time to get the footprints up, so the Max mode was definitely needed in that area, but it didn't go into Max on its own. But I don't need a machine to do my thinking for me about where the extra dirty areas are, so I'm fine with pushing the button for the Max cleaning when I need it. Suction only mode: Apparently this model may not have a suction only mode, which is helpful if you happen to leak water on the floor while cleaning or when spinning the roller dry. It wasn't clear to me (and still isn't by the manual) whether the S5 has a Suction-only mode, so that is disappointing if it doesn't. It may be that you have to shell out more $$ on the Pro or Smart (Blue) model to get the Suction only version. I didn't feel like putting everything back together before it's dry to see if there is a Suction Only mode, but if there isn't, I will continue to remove the clean water tank to get suction only. So there. Summary: I think this is a fine machine and the Tineco S5 did a better job of cleaning my floors with less effort than before! I could get it directly from Tineco for cheaper than I bought it on Amazon, but in case I hated it right out of the box, I opted for Amazon - even though I believe I would have to work with Tineco directly if I had used it and wanted to return it, so that's food for thought. I would say that I was very happy with the performance of the Tineco and have no regrets with this purchase. If I find any other issues with the machine down the road, I will update my review.

Very handy and cleans the floor well. The tank is small and I need to refill it twice to do my floors but, that works for me because of the light weight and ease of movement.

got this today,read manual while it was charging. INCREDIBLE!! very easy to use the brush pulls the mop/vacuum.did entire house(excited) saw how well it was cleaning the floors.dumped dirty water(dark brown) and a wad of cat hair(3 of em) best floor cleaner i ever used!! 71 years old: so easy a paw paw can do it. Stop shopping and buy one

Killing 2 birds with 1 stone is always nice. Being able to mop and vacuum simultaneously is a plus... Handling is good. Run time is good. Combo auto and full power mode it lasted 30 mins Dirt removal is awesome. See photos. Edge cleaning is great. Gets under cabinets nicely. Lightweight. Easy to clean, rinse, and dry. Easy to fill. Water reservoir. Took about 6 hours to fully charge out of the box. I tried to clean a high traffic area to where it would remove old build up and it did not do that as much as I wanted, BUT it did a pretty good job of removing a heck of a lot of dirt. I used on both sealed wood floors and tile and it all did well. The dirt sensor was a little laggy. That was the only thing I could ding this unit on. Other than that. No complaints.

Absolutely love this cleaner. Having kids and a dog this is a game changer. I do wish it held a charge a little longer but as long as I regularly use it to keep the floors clean I can clean 1000 square feet on max mode without it dying. Easy to use from first charge, cleaner goes a long way and is easily found online and in some local stores.

This is a pretty good mop. It's easy to maneuver and very light. Although I believe the clean water container is a bit too small. I normally need to refill it 2-3 times to finish mopping my whole home.

Cleaning my floors has become so much easier with this! Prior to this purchase I would dread cleaning my floors due to the lengthy process. I used to have to dry mop my floors (I have a dog who loves to leave a trail of water drops) before I could vacuum and then steam mop. Now that I have this, my cleaning time has drastically decreased and I couldn't be happier! I do wish the tanks were bigger so that the capacity would increase to allow more time without having to empty as often. Other than that I am pleased with this product. I know for a fact that this leaves my floors clean after doing the damp paper towel test.

Cleaning with this through out the week is so easy. My only complaint is that I wish I could clean without having to clean out the water as often. But its is definitely something I would recommend.

I live in a 900 sqft house with all hardwood flooring with two dogs and two cats, plus my husband who does concrete. It usually takes me up to two hours to sweep/vacuum and then mop my house. I just did it TWICE in less than 30 minutes. It took 2 tanks of clean water solution (16.9 oz plus the cap full of cleaner). It did ask me to clean out “the pipe” twice because of the pet fur but thats no biggie. It was easy to clean after too. Plus then it has a self cleaning mode that you can use as well. It does leave some streaks behind but it doesn’t bother me, it looks like the lines left behind from a vacuum. Super light weight and easy to use. Highly recommend for the pricing.
