THIS IS THE BEST MOP HANDS DOWN, SMART PURCHASE.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is such a wonderful cleaning tool that I have thrown my regular mop away. One thing that is wonderful about this mop is that it heavy duty. I have taken most of the carpet out of my house because of allergies so I just basically have hardwood floors and tile. It is so easy just to take out and clean for things that the kids spill and when you drop things on the floor. I love it because you don’t have to fill up a bucket of water and put cleaner in it, you can just pick it up off the base and it is ready to use. One of the things that I recommend doing is cleaning it after every use. Being able to get in between small cracks is a bit of a challenge and around corners but you can make it work. It is a small price to pay for having to fill in a bucket and also the charging mechanism on this is fairly quick. I can do my whole 2000 sq ft home on one charge and then some. I would love to have a tank that is double the size. I do have to fill the tank once after doing most of the house but that is a small price to pay for convenience.

Doesn't do as advertised..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited about purchasing this machine it had good reviews. It is pricey but if it got the job done it would be well worth it. I am so disappointed in this machine. Can't, even clean more than a couple of swipes before it's saying dirty water tank please empty. I have cleaned everything on it the tank, filter, roller and still get this message. the dirty water tank pops off a will. I wish I could return it.

Excellent Cleaning Capability but Long Charge Time
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used the S6 Extreme Pro on our brand-new wood floor and tile floor in the kitchen and bathroom areas. I found that the Auto mode did an excellent job in cleaning the floors. We did just water on the wood and used the included solution for the tile. The tanks are smaller than what I’m used to but because you can only do about 35 minutes on a charge they are adequately sized. In Auto mode it will adjust the suction and roller speed based on how much dirt and debris it is detecting. There is a ring on the full-color LCD screen that gives you a visual indication of this, which Tineco calls iLoop. If it’s red then it’s still finding dirt on the floor and you probably need to make another pass over that spot. I have this same feature on my Tineco dry vacuum and it works well so I’m glad this model has it too. It effectively cleaned the floors and left a thin layer of water that dries quickly. I was amazed at how black the dirty tank water was every time I needed to dump it. It is self-propelled and will push itself forward which is helpful. However, with the self-propulsion, I found it is almost impossible to put it back into the upright position without putting your foot in front of it to stop it. I like that it’s able to get very close to walls. There are three other modes: Suction: which stops dispensing water for when the floor is already wet. Max, which just runs the vacuum at max suction and speed if you know you have a big mess to clean. And finally, Ultra mode which is interesting in that it electrolyzes the clean water to make a solution that should be bacteria free. It takes about 30 seconds for Ultra mode to electrolyze the water but after that you are ready for a deep clean. Ultra does not use any more battery power. The downside is that it only lasts about 35 minutes on a charge and takes anywhere from 4-5 hours to fully charge. We have over 2000sq feet of hard floor to clean which makes doing it all at once or timely not possible. The dirty water tank will also have to be cleaned frequently and when you put it back on the charger it will often want to do a “self-clean”. When you clean out the dirty water tank you need to be sure to not only dump it but rinse it and use the included brush to get all the gunk out. Especially make sure to do this if you are not going to be using the vacuum for a few days, you don’t want to leave it sitting with anything in it. If your floors are really dirty it’s worth taking a dry vacuum to them first before the wet one. Pros: Excellent Cleaning Ability Cordless Full Color LCD Screen Ultra Germ-Free Mode Wifi Built-in Self-cleaning Includes Additional Brush Rollers Includes Charging Base Edge Cleaning Cons: Short Run-time Need to Clean Out Often and Thoroughly No light Overall, the Tineco S6 Extreme Pro did a better job cleaning my floor than any other appliance I’ve used. However, it does not have a long run-time and is therefore better suited for doing 1-2 rooms at a time.

Junk/ Do not buy this or anything from Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not buy this. It is junk. It leaks everywhere. I used 3 times. Not my first Tineco. Best Buy return policy is 15 days, they want you to pay to return Items. Why would I pay to join a return club? I will never buy from here again. Buy from Amazon. They let you return anything. Tineco expects you to be a maintenance tech and to fix problems yourself. I paid almost $500.00 for this piece of junk. Do not buy from here or buy this product from anywhere.

Game Changer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve loved this mop/vacuum since the day I received it. It’s been a life changer for me. Hard wood floors throughout the house and 4 dogs. Let’s say that our floors have not been the cleanest. But now I have a reason to keep them clean. Everything was nicely packed in the box and putting it together was simple. This comes with a total of 3 rollers that you can swap out when one gets dirty. Although this does have a self cleaning feature which I’ve used twice now and it appears to do a good job. A bottle of cleaning solution also comes with everything so you can get started right away. It only takes a cap full so it should last you a good while. The charging base is really simple but does the job. It has a place on each side to store accessories ect. I let the mop charge over night before I used it. With the four dogs I wanted to get all the hair swept up first as I dont believe this is built for that much dog hair lol. After that I put this thing to work. You wouldn’t believe what these dogs track in. This product made quick work of my dirty floors. I’m super impressed with its ease of use and operation. The large digital display is nice and shows you the information you need to see. I’ve only used this on the Auto setting and it has been working great. Probably this winter when the dogs are wet and muddy will I need to venture into the other settings. I don’t think my floors have been cleaner before this. Definitely recommend if you have hard floors. Kids or dogs or both. It will clean up and make quick work of their mess.

Tineco does it again
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The is the third Tineco cordless floor washer I’ve owned, and the new Floor One S6 Extreme Pro does not disappoint. I am not going to go into the individual specs in this review ( you can see them in BestBuy’s product information page) but I will concentrate on the real world applications and impressions. In review: Fit and finish/ Build quality/Design– Simply fantastic. Well refined, high-quality plastic. Almost an Apple or Google product feel to it. Every button is perfectly placed and the seams of all the plastic are fit snuggly. If I compared it to the S5 that I won, I see little difference with the exception of a little less of flex in the handle and the cleaning head ( more on that later.) The head size is perfect, not too big so that you cannot get it i to tight places nor too small that it takes too many passes. Changing the rollers in the head takes about 20 seconds and does not require any tools. The one big difference between the S5 and S6 Pro is the head cleaner area is edge to edge, the S5 is not edge to edge – one side affixes to the unit. Battery life – The S6 Pro is rated up to 35 minutes of run time. That seems to be really dependent on which mode you run it in and how dirty your floors. In ultra mode, the S6 Extreme Pro was about 20 minutes, auto mode hit about the 35 minutes. Either way, more than enough to handle most floors. Recharge time is relative fast, abut 25% per hour. App- I never understood the need to have an app for a floor cleaner. And I still don’t. The app will tell you how much battery you have, what mode you are in, self-cleaning time left etc.. Nothing that is really necessary to use the unit. Frankly I used the unit for over a week without even connecting to the app. Cleaning performance – First, it is important to set the proper expectations. The Floor One S6 Extreme Pro is not designed for heavily soiled floors. It is designed for minor day to day build up of grime. Sure, you can clean up basic spills, but you should really be using the S6 Extreme Pro for maintenance. To test this, I had not cleaned my floor for a month. I purposely left splashed regular soda and coffee with no sugar in spots. The normal dirt of the floor came up relatively fast as did the coffee. The sugary soda took several passes. Not that it is bad, I am giving you a reference to performance expectations. The head definitely does a better job at cleaning compared to my S5, the edge-to-edge roller is just superior and enables you to get close to edges. What is included – Charging base, cleaning fluid, cleaning brush, 2 filters and 3 roller heads. More than enough to last you for few years (except the cleaning fluid.) Overall, the Tineco Floor One S6 Extreme Pro is a well-built and well-designed unit that does it’s job well. It is a bit on the pricey side so I would wait for a sale. The only improvement I could see is a bit longer battery life. Regardless, if you are looking for an easy to use, light weight floor cleaner for day to day cleaning, you cannot go wrong with the Tineco Floor One S6 Extreme Pro.

Nice Time Saver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Tineco Floor One S6 Extreme Pro is a decent choice if you have the need. Unpacking and assembly was simple. Just a few minutes from slicing the tape to fully assembled. I let it charge for a few hours while I ran some errands. Came home, filled with warm water and the Tineco soap and went to work. The Tineco Floor One S6 Extreme Pro is a real time saver. Before using this, our hard floors required sweeping first and mopping (or wet swifter moping) second. With this, a cursory walk through and removal of larger items the dogs or cats may have left after playing with them, it's one simple action. This picks up most smaller items while simultaneously cleaning and vacuuming with water. As for battery life, we have about 1000 square foot of hard flooring in our utility, laundry, kitchen, breakfast nook and den. The battery was easily able to handle that on in charge. End of the day, this is a great choice if you have the need. It is a little in the pricey side, but remembering the value of your time, well worth it.

A new world of cleaning
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get the Tineco S6 Extreme Pro since I have two dogs that tend to make some extreme messes. This particular model has some features that I really like that make it very versatile in my home and potentially in your own. One of my favorite features by far is the edge-to-edge roller brush. While I’m right-handed (models without the edge-to-edge brush could be awkward for left handed people to use) this makes it more flexible when using it so that you can approach the area you are trying to clean from many different angles especially when you are trying to clean close to a wall or furniture. Maneuvering the vacuum is easy too with the propulsion system which assists you in the direction that you are moving it meaning that even older people should be able to use it without issue. The other critical aspect for me is the self-cleaning which is important in terms of making this something that you want to regularly use. It’s a ridiculously simple yet effective cycle that adds water and spins the roller while sucking away the dirt when the vacuum is docked. After the clean cycle is complete you can just dump the dirty water bin and you are ready for your next clean. Both of my dogs have long fine hair and while I didn’t purposefully use this to clean up clumps of hair I inevitably sucked up a fair amount. I didn’t have any issues with the roller getting tangled or hair getting caught. Most hair ended up in the dirty water tank, which again is awesome because having to clean hair out of the unit all the time would encourage me to not use it. I did need to clean some hair from the roller from time to time, but a quick pinch of the cover to remove it and grab the hair is all it takes. Using the S6 Extreme Pro is very straightforward with only a couple buttons. Fill up the clean water tank with warm water and a cap of the cleaning solution and you ready to get started. After you press the power button simply using your foot to hold the vacuum head down while tilting the handle back automatically engages the vacuum. You can press the mode button to cycle through the different cleaning intensities. The ring around the display shows intensity based on dirt level being detected by the vacuum. Blue being that the area is clean, while Blue/Red and Red show that the vacuum is automatically increasing the intensity to clean an especially dirty spot when using the Auto mode. This is cool and based on the messes that I cleaned (both intentionally made ones and natural ones), it seems to actually reflect and react to the level of dirtiness for the most part. This variable speed and suction means that the vacuum is maximizing its battery life rather than inefficiently running at max speed the entire time. The Ultra mode is especially cool as it uses electrolyzed water during the mopping process. While Tineco doesn’t explain exactly what this means, my understanding is that naturally occurring salt in water becomes a weak bleach solution that is safe while still potent enough to disinfect. After you engage this mode you have to wait for the electrolysis to complete which takes about 30 seconds and you can actually see a bunch of tiny bubbles being formed in the water tank. How did the vacuum perform? In my opinion extremely well – things like mustard and ketchup that hadn’t had a chance to dry were picked up without issue. Even chunkier things like noodles and pasta sauces were effortless. Most of my house is vinyl floor which has some texture which make some dried dirt difficult to clean, but multiple passes got the job done. Potentially a thicker or stiffer roll might help cases like this, but that would be my only feedback. The tile in my house has less texture and a glossier surface and was cleaned without issue. I was not able to evaluate the app or connect it to my home’s Wi-Fi since I received this product before it was released and the app had not been updated to support this latest model. My understanding is that you can connect the unit to Wi-Fi which allows you to update the firmware as well as track the life of the consumables which is generally great to have if you are a little forgetful like myself.

Excellent upgrade from the very first model
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the first floor cleaning model Tineco made years ago. It still works so these are built rock solid. The biggest reasons to upgrade for me was wanting edge to edge cleaning and longer battery life. It cleans very well when you use it as it is intended. It's meant to replace manually mopping the floors and not spreading dirty water all over the place. Anything which takes a lot of work to clean will still need to be cleaned manually. It also won't clean carpets which it isn't intended for anyway. Removing the roller to dry and cleanup is magnetic and way easier now. Empty the dirty water, rinse it out, wipe it down, refill the clean water and it's ready to go for the next time I need it. The newer tech is appreciated as the original was totally bare bones. No screen no nothing literally. The different modes are great and the battery life tracking and audio assistance (though overkill) are nice to have. This kit has 3 brushes and an extra filter which is a huge plus as you can remove one to dry and have another one installed and ready to go for next time. The cleaning is top notch as it always has been. The wifi setup is complicated and I could see people getting frustrated setting it up as even me being tech minded needed a few tries as it kept timing out. The cost is on the highest end but if it lasts years like the last one it's well worth it. The nice thing is they have so many models that you can buy what you need or want and not pay for what you don't. I have recommended them to several friends and family members through the years. I would also suggest buying an extra bottle of fluid as I have noticed it can be difficult to find in stock at times with the shortages things are experiencing in these times.

Love this Thing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have mixed flooring in our home. The downstairs is hardwood mostly with tile in the kitchen. With 2 kids and a big dog, keeping the floors clean can be a challenge. We have a regular, battery powered vacuum that works for most of what we need, but it doesn't actually clean the floor. I've used another tool that was similiar in concept to this a few years ago. But this Tineco S6 thing is a really nice upgrade and I'm really happy with it. My only real issue with it are the brushes that come with the cleaner. All of the brushes are soft, so when it came to trying to clean up some of the mud that my dog tracked in, I had to go over it several times. Out of the box, you get the Tineco S6 floor cleaner, 2 brush rolls, a base, additional replacement filter, and most importantly, the cleaning solution. The cleaning solution smells really nice, which is nice because it leaves the floors smelling clean and fresh. The S6 also features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen that shows battery life. There's also helpful audio prompts. I was also really impressed with the different modes that you can activate. When it kicks on, it's initially in a default / automatic mode. There's also additional options for increased suction or more power overall. I was also really impressed that when I was done cleaning, there's an option to have the S6 go through a self-cleaning cycle to keep the brushes clean. Another nice feature is that the base serves 3 purposes: 1) Base to keep the roller brushes clean / off the floor. 2) Recharges the device when the base is plugged in. 3) Self cleaning stand. All in all, I'm really impressed with the device, and would greatly recommend it.
