I’m not sure if it is made for carpet as well, but if it is, I can’t see how it would. Good thing we have lvp and hardwood only.

Would be great if a second interchangeable battery pack was offered to finish the job. Battery is sufficient for three medium rooms (which are partially covered with rugs) and two hallways. Unfortunately I have those three medium rooms and two hallways plus another two smaller rooms. (Kitchen, breakfast area, family room, living room, dining room)

The self cleaning works well , would just recommend to make sure you empty the DWT after each use to avoid bad smells.

Worth every penny

It’s that good and that easy to clean the machine. The only downside is it’s hard to get the Tineco Brand cleaner. And they require you use their cleaner. So when it is in stock you have to get a few bottles to last you.but the benefit is one bottle will last you awhile. It’s very concentrated and you only use a cap full.

At first i was skeptical about it since it is an expensive buy for a wet/dry vacuum. After my wife used it she loved it since it cuts cleaning time by half.

There are better ones on the market and cheaper.

My vacuum maybe was defective, but the icon for self cleaning was turning on every five minutes. So cleaning with this vacuum goes like this: I pour water and cleaning solution, I vacuum five minutes, I run self cleaning, then I need to empty dirty water tank and pour water and cleaning solution, then I vacuum for five minutes and all over again. I returned it.

It cleans my floor really well as you can see the dirty water collecting, even after I vacuum and steam mop beforehand (as an experiment). The self clean mode is useful but I still need to do quite a bit of work afterward to thoroughly clean out the device. It is a very well made vaccine.

It is not equal to a mop in a bucket deep cleaning, but it is good for your in between mop and vaccuum - AT THE SAME TIME. It does a great job, but I just don't think it is a deep mopping system alternative. I love that it picks up wet and/or dry messes - that is priceless.
