Customers frequently mention the fast-paced gameplay and fun Titans as major highlights of Titanfall. Many also praise the game's action, price point, and maps. However, some players express disappointment with the limited campaign mode and lack of a robust single-player experience. The absence of a compelling storyline is also a recurring criticism.

I LOVE Titanfall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the fluidity of control in Titanfall. Not all love that there's only 6 players per team, but I like the control over the map this gives you. The parkour type movement is great and commanding your giant mech is fun and takes some getting used to to truly master. Looks great and plays great. Note there is no single player campaign, but I didn't mind. I've never done 10 prestiges in a CoD game, but I did it here.

Chaotic and fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game actually felt like two games in one. If you're a fan of the CoD series you'll appreciate how crisp the gun play feels. But if you decide to play this game like a CoD game and not take advantage of the unique verticality the game has to offer, you will be owned. When you're on foot the game feels exactly like CoD except through genius implementation of parkour and jet packs you absolutely MUST take advantage of the vertical environments to gain vantage points over enemy. The parkour is intuitively smooth, easy to learn yet difficult to master. But then, you call in your Titan and the entire experience changes. The gameplay, how you approach enemy and how you navigate the battlefield changes drastically, which is why I say this game feels like two games in one. You might do just fine as a lone wolf while on foot but in a titan you must become a team player or you'll suddenly find yourself getting your butt handed to you by a team of well coordinated titans. Overall, this is a unique experience, with satisfying gameplay offering chaotic battles that will have you coming back for more. I give this game a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It doesn't get 5 stars because with the rich lore and potential for single player, the developers (IMO) got lazy and provided us with only a MP experience. Wasted opportunity IMO. So due to lack of a true single player experience, I had to shave off a star. Either way, if you love multiplayer, you'll love this game.

Great game, lacks content
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is essentially COD with giant robots. Which means the multiplayer is ridiculously fun, and runs to perfection. The problem is, outside of the multiplayer there isn't much else to do. The lack of single player and multiplayer variety really leaves a lot to be desired. There is a lot of fun to be had playing this, but there are so many other shooters out there that can offer the same fun, but with a lot more variety. If you can get past that, then go for it.

Best game for Xbox One yet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The multiplayer is pretty flawless. Every single map (9 of them) is fun to play in it's own way. The creators of this game did not put a campaign like battlefield or COD in the game in order to focus all efforts on multiplayer, and it paid off! The challenges and REGEN are actually challenging to complete, which adds a lot more value and enjoyment to the game play.

Refreshing and even more fun than the beta
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've played the beta, the full, final release, is definitely more fun and enjoyable. For those that haven't played it, it's a very fun, fast-paced first person shooter. It's really fun to be able to run up buildings, wall-run across rooms and buildings. Ever more enjoyable is calling in a Titan and bringing pure chaos to the enemy team, but be careful, you certainly are not invincible. Given a skilled pilot, being in a Titan is not a sure win or too far over powered, so don't let it discourage you to fight one. The campaign mode is far different than any I've seen before. Instead of the usual solo campaign where you simply fight automated bots, this campaign is a mix of attrition (team death match) and hard point (domination) against real players with story line mixed in to give you a reason to fight, and a few unexpected events. Looking to advance to the highest level in the game? Well, it'll be a challenge. Each "Generation" ("Prestige" as Call of Duty calls it.) comes with it's own challenges that you must complete in order to move on to the next generation, getting more and more difficult the higher the generation you are.

Great shooter! Especially at the price now.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a world where shooters are getting generic this game brings something refreshing to the genre. Sure you can run and gun but once you get in a Titan, everything changes It is so fun and hectic. And the cat and mouse game where you try to bring one of those bad boys down is so exciting and rewarding. My only regret was buying it at full price at $59.99. Must buy right now especially with all the updates and map packs are free. Yes you read right, It is free! Enjoy!

Great multiplayer, nonexistent single player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent playing Titanfall, and the subsequent patches and upgrades to the game have made it all the better. The multiplayer is extremely smooth, customizing loadouts is great, and calling down a titan from orbit still makes me giddy as a schoolgirl...but Titanfall is severely lacking in some crucial areas. First off, Titanfall has no single-player. All matches are played with other humans always online. Secondly, the "story mode" of Titanfall is just certain types of matches with a 2-minute dialog leading into the match. The outcome of the match has absolutely no standing on the outcome of the story and you can still progress even if you lose the match. The story itself is really stupid and explains next to nothing, it was clearly a last-minute attempt at adding some additional content. Unfortunately, a game can only stand so long on being multiplayer alone before other games come out and take its place. Titanfall is worth a weekend with friends, but beyond that it just feels like 1/2 a game.

Great Graphics, Good Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Titanfall is a good game with great graphics! My only issue with the game is that you have to be online with it. There is not a single mode that allows you to play offline. (yes, I did know this when I purchased) The concept is great, but I prefer games with more of a story and where I don't have to play online if I don't want to.

Good game for Multiplayer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing this game since it came out, this is not the game that designed for story line and you will need XBOX gold to play. Game is keeping update with more feature since it came out, I surprised that that they add some feature later You can use up to three card per each match and it has the card that match for each type of game and map depends on the tactic that you would like to use, you will get more card when you meet the requirement With current feature, you can trade the card to point to buy it later, I think it is the same feeling as ultimate team on Madden or FIFA(You cannot pay by cash for the point which is good), graphic is nice, the balance of the game is great. Addition maps are good as well, worth for season pass Not the same type of map and change background like some other game

Awesome FPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great graphics and intense action. The parkor movements add a whole another dimension that has never been achieved in a game. The campaign is multiplayer and is just cutscreens. By far my favorite game.

Adrenaline Rush!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My brother and I are hardcore battlefield players. But once we heard about this game at E3 we slightly ignored it thinking it was just going to be any ordinary game. Slowly we became interested in the game ans by December we really wanted the game. When we picked it up at midnight from best buy and got to play we were amazed! This game is so fast paced and gives you an adrenaline rush every time. The titans, wall running, ejecting out of a titan, punching/shooting a titan, etc. is just insane! I have surround sound so blasting this game at high volume makes me have regain my breath at the end of each game haha (x I recommend you pick up this game, you won't regret it !

Incredible!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Titanfall is that rare thing that actually manages to live up to the massive hype that has built up since its announcement. It looked amazing and all the press that got an early preview told us it was amazing, but how could it be that amazing? I'm not sure what gaming geniuses developed this game but it really is outstanding. The gameplay is precise and powerful whether you are on foot or in a titan. There are so many more options available to everyone when playing this game. So many play styles are accommodated perfectly that everyone seems to be loving it. The campaign gives us some backstory on the universe that you are fighting in and it fleshes everything out. I find myself interested and playing all of the game modes which is more than I can say for most online shooters where I tend to just find one or two interesting.

Great multiplayer, not so great campaign.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played the beta and was really excited for the game. I purchased the DL version of the game (you have to install anyway so why bother going to the store) and the gameplay is nice and smooth. Once in a while there where be a little bit of lag but not much. Graphics are awesome, maps are large. My real disappointment was the online campaign. It's essentially multiplayer with a story line. There is no single player campaign. Bottom line it is worth the money and provides hrs of entertainment.

Great Multiplayer Experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked COD Modern warfare games and since I knew the same developers were making this game and I liked the trailer, I bought this. Here is what I think. ****************************************************************PROS********************************************************************************* -Great FPS/Titan gameplay: Gameplay is the number one reason you should buy this game. It is a mixture of FPS like COD but in addition to that you can wall run, double jump, use stealth but most importantly play as Titan. Playing as a pilot (simple FPS) and as a Titan, both have their advantages and disadvantages. So plenty of tactics to explore between two types of play. If you become an advanced player, then you can both control your Titan while playing as a pilot(human). A must experience. -Incredible graphics/sounds: This one goes without saying. Anyone who has seen the trailer can tell this game has great graphics and sounds. Little things like Titans falling from the sky are very well done. Makes the play very enthralling. -Variety of multiplayer modes: Like other FPS, there are variety of modes. I have had this one for almost a month and still haven't gotten around to exploring all of these modes. -Upgrades: As you play more, you earn more points and you can customize and upgrade both your pilot and the Titan. Makes the gameplay very addictive. ****************************************************************CONS********************************************************************************* -Lack of a good single player campaign/story: It has a very generic horde single player mode. A great concept like this could really have used a good single player story mode. But unfortunately it is simply not there. I really hope developers include it the next time. ****************************************************************CONCLUSION********************************************************************************* I wouldn't buy this game at full price as it doesn't have a single player mode. But now that the price has lowered, I recommend buying it and experiencing the amazing multiplayer experience.

must get
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for a few years for another game to beat the fun factor of call of duty. I as well as many others have felt that it is the same game year after year and just frankly getting sick of it. I tried battlefield and though it was a good game almost seemed too realistic and ea lost focus on the fun factor of the fast paced fps. My two favorite franchises for games are Halo and COD. Titanfall seems to have closed the gap between the two. The game still feels and plays like a call of duty with added abilities like wall running, double jumps, calling in titans and taking them down. The game was easy enough for my wife to pick up and play while maintaining a challenging experience for myself. I am so glad to finally say this game is going to make me forget about COD. Sorry Activision but I amsick and tired of the same game every year. We needed change and this is what you're looking for if you feel the way I do. I am glad I signed upfor the beta. It was an easy decision to make. I have pre ordered 2 copies.

Spectacular game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing the beta on XBOX ONE, this game is awesome. Pre-ordered it, and can't wait. There are AI characters in the game, so if you're not that good, you won't be overwhelmed by getting your butt kicked by other players. You can still take on the AI and feel a sense of accomplishment. The ability to walk on walls, and double jump makes traversing the maps a lot of fun. The maps are big, and have a lot of depth to the maps. The titans are a lot of fun to get into, and battle with. The ability to "rodeo" a titan is very slick. Awesome game, recommend it to any FPS fans.
