This game is great. If you like COD and Halo you will like this. Setting and sci-Fi is like Halo minus the aliens. Gameplay similar to COD. It is very fluid and user friendly. The graphics are awesome. You almost have 2 game in one between the titans and pilots. The pilots have a free world capability so you are climbing buildings and doing wall runs. The only thing I didn't like was that it seems like the campaign is lacking. However, multiplayer is more important with this type of game.

Awesome game, there is no solo play - it is solely online matchmaking multi-player game but it is really fun to play. So many more features to the game play than the typical first person shooter. Highly recommend!

I went to the midnight release of TitanFall. Since I got it I haven't been able to stop playing it. It's ridiculously addicting. If you're into online gameplay then this is the game for you! It's almost a cross between the Halo series and COD. The game does have a campaign but it's basically the online gameplay with small cut scenes. Somewhat upsetting you have to pay full price for just an online game. But I must say it was well worth it. Overall this is a great buy. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Titanfall was the game everyone lauded when it first came out. I have just recently purchased it because it was on sale for $30, and I figured it was about time I gave it a shot. Aside from the long, drawn out opening tutorial this is a solid game. If you're used to CoD/Halo games, you should have an easy time of transition...just have to get used to the minor changes made for this game (wall running/titans). But still a good game, and I do recommend picking it up if you can.

The best, most fun multiplayer game in ten years

When I first saw the early trailer for Titanfall over a year ago after E3 2013, I had a feeling it would be something huge, even if back then it was only a glimpse of a brand new company's first game. It offered a glimpse of Jet-pack wall running soldiers in a war torn futuristic frontier, and of the monstrous battle mechs that gave the game its name. After playing first in the public beta, then for the last few days, I can honestly say it's one of the best, most fun games I've ever played. First, some full disclosure; this game has no traditional singe player. It has an online multiplayer "campaign" whereupon story elements are blended with Titanfall's multiplayer experience. You play through story missions from both sides of the war, going up against both AI bots and actual players while doing so. It's a lot of fun, and lends itself to some truly epic moments that I as a single player aficionado didn't expect. Additionally, if you're new to first person shooters, have no fear. The game is especially kind to those unfamiliar with shooters, featuring the best tutorial I've ever seen and more than few features to make sure everyone has a blast. It's easy to get into. This accessibility also ensures that the game play is never stacked in any one person's favor. The designers seem to have gone to great lengths to ensure that it's anyone's match, no matter your experience level. The best example of this is that after a few minutes, anyone, no matter how well or poorly you're doing, gets to call down a Titan mech of their own. The gameplay is fast, fun, frenetic, and always balanced. It's newbie friendly, and full of epic moments. Though it may not have a traditional single player... It might just be the best multiplayer game I've ever played. If you're at all interested in the thought of jet-pack wall running along rooftops, hopping onto the back of a giant robot, shooting out its circuitry, flying sky high, and then jumping into your own falling-from-orbit giant mech, then you should give this a try.

    Shooter Shooting for Superiority in...Shooters

Microsoft sat fidgeting in it's giant chair. It looking a lot less imposing as it once had, having been cut down multiple times in what was the battle of E3 2013. It, however, knew it had one last battle plan, one last ditch effort to entice users into buying it's much talked about Xbox One system. On March 11 in the year 2014, it unleashed it's warrior onto the battlefield of the console wars. It's name, one word, Titanfall. In the last year that the X1 was announced, many were skeptical about it delivering as a system. Many assumed it would die out quickly, what with the confusing policy reversal and other faulty PR that the company had to overcome. One game was touted above the rest, more so than some first party offerings, and that was Titanfall. Coming from Respawn Entertainment, made up of former Infinity Ward employees (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Series), Microsoft was hoping for a new revolution in online multiplayer. Now that it's here, I'm not so sure it's a revolution, but it is a ton of fun. The game is incredibly balanced. Everything is fine tuned to make it were no one weapon towers above the rest. Which is great in a multiplayer arena. Not once did I feel like I was at a lose starting out, I knew the toys would come in, but I was still a formidable force on the ground even with my starters. Everything is put where it needs to be and were it can function properly, nothing is over powered. The Titans, while imposing, can be taken down with the right amount of skill and footwork, even on foot. The only mark I can put against it is the lacking campaign, it's there but it really has no purpose. It's always online and a little distracting when teammates drop out while your playing, not that your actions matter, the story plays out the same no matter what. This is a great foundation for future games in the series, which there will be. If you are desperate for something new on the X1, give Titanfall a shot. If you want depth, than wait it out for something of the RPG variety to come along.

I wouldn't say this is the best game off the yr.. maybe the best game xbox one released that isn't a racing game.. The graphics are good. Still a lot of waiting time between game play even though the hide the "loading" screen with live action / talking. The game play gets old after playing a while. The only good thing is when ur killed by someone you don't want to take a chair and smash ur TV like in COD.. it's more fun over all... doesn't seem like too many people are cheating like COD.. and if you did a lot it doesn't matter. Moving around the stage and jumping around is cool and enjoyable and of course trying to bring down a titan when on foot is fun. I would only recommend this game to friends so we could play together.. other than that the game is just ok... They basically blended COD and halo and added in a large fighting robot that once destroyed takes 2 to 3 minutes to become available again. Maybe the game gets better as you unlock everything.. but the playing cards for perks isn't really anything cool guess it helps kind of early on but that's about it. Not to mention you have to load the 3 cards you want to use and then make sure u prjess the Y button before you jump out of the plane to actually use them.. don't see the point in the added procedure just to use a perk.. If you are looking for something not COD or BUT then grab it.. other wise wait and see what's out this summer and fall.

Titanfall is, IMO, the best multi-player game of last year. I owned it from day one on PC and still play it regularly to this day so when I saw it on sale for Xbox One I couldn't pass it up. Fantastic game!

This is a really fun game, great for multi-player online gaming. However the campaigning mode is very lacking and not too in depth. Graphics and game play are the real highlights and those will not disappoint. How can you not like giant Mechs that drop out of the sky? It's been a long time coming for somebody to get back into the mech style games. Especially fun to be able to hop out and challenge another mech. Would have been a 5 star if their was a good solo campaign mode.

Battling with giant robots, what else do you need? In all seriousness, this game is amazing. It strays from the classic FPS recipe, which in this case, is great. The controls and weapons have been reimagined for Titanfall, resulting in fast, fun, chaotic battles for domination. It is a breath of fresh air for compared to the same old 4th or 5th generation shooters (looking at you COD). Titanfall has much more of an "arcade" game feel. Not so focused on tactics, but more all around fun gameplay.

Great game and worth all the hype. The fast past action is a huge plus and the multiple options are amazing. The game will only get better with the each DLC release. If you don't own this then you're missing out.

I bought Titanfall not really sure what to expect. The game has been great and ive logged many hours into it. The game play is amazing and smooth and fair. but the campaign isnt much to look at, because its all online, they had to do it while your ingame and playing. So you really just hear the voices in the background but its hard to focus on that when your trying to stay alive. But Titanfall is about the game play and not campaign. Its a great game and is something new. Its a great buy!

This is a great new game with a fresh take on the increasingly exhausted first person shooter genre. The titan gmaeplay mechanics are reminiscent of older games like MechWarrior. The wall running mechanics give an edge over the standard sprint and shoot "call of duty", opening up new ways to think and play. The graphics are great, gorgeous and crisp. Just make sure you have a fast and strong internet connection, lag is still the #1 killer in first person shooters.

I was skeptical and half expected this game to be a disappointment due to the massive hype. I wouldn't call it revolutionary, but there is enough different in the game to set it apart from the COD's. I've been enjoying this much more than any recent online FPS so far. The dynamic of going back and forth between your pilot and titan is pretty cool, and the different weapons and burn card system add positively to the whole experience. Best game I've played for the Xbox One so far.
