When I got this game I was excited, but when I tried to play it the population was so low that it was not fun. Titanfall 2 was coming out months later so it was more my fault then theres

This game is awesome! it is a perfect combination of hardcore shooter and casual. plenty of different game modes, and the campaign is a lot of fun as well. there is multiple campaigns and each side has its own story. the season pass maps are pretty cool too and the game still gets updates so definitely recommend it.

Fun Multiplayer Game on Xbox One

TitanFall is a Great Multiplayer Game on the Xbox One with many features. Call of duty Fans will see similar controls from what they are used to playing the game. The New Feature of Titanfall would be your Titan which is a giant mech robot that you can hop inside and start destroying other players and their titans. You can jump on walls and quickly side run to the next wall. The AI does need some work and doesn't feel too much of a challenge. Overall it's a great game to have in your Xbox one Library if you love Multiplayer shooters :)

    Best multiplayer FPS to date

I have played COD, BF, halo, Killzone, borderlands, etc and have to say that this is the best multiplayer FPS to date. The combination of jet packs and wall running make things faster and smoother. I love the fact that you are always exposed which I'm sure many people that like to camp really hate. The titans are pretty cool too. It feels good when you step on another player or when you take down another titan. You also feel strong as a soldier as you can do your best to hide and use your anti-titan guns to take one down. The ejection from a titan is also well done. This is exactly what a next gen shooter should look and feel like. Don't let the haters deviate you from making the purchase. You will have a lot of fun. I know a lot of people are complaining about the price since it doesn't have a campaign but you'll be playing this game for hours. Maybe a lot more than any single player games (many are 15 hours long). That being said, I dont understand how Respawn is already selling a season pass when they could have incorporated a few more maps and guns to this release. That's why I'm giving it 4.5 out of 5.

Great FPS, hope they make a second!

Overall this game is fantastic, very entertaining FPS. I would compare it to COD because it is a point and shoot with very little recoil style of game unlike Battlefield. I could sit and play this game for hours and not get bored. There are some things that I hope they change by either a DLC or at least be the second Titanfall (which I am sure they will make). First of all I wish the campaign had more of a story which would include a Halo or COD style story. The only difference between the campaign and the classic online mode is that there is some dialogue and a tiny video on the corner of your screen, which you don't pay attention to because you are still playing the game. My second complaint would be that the customization is mediocre. There are only 3 classes of pilots and only a dozen weapon choices along with only a handful of attachments for each weapon at the most. People like customization and being able to make there own style of weapon and character. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy playing this game and would definitely recommend to everyone that wants to see a different style of FPS. i just have my fingers crossed that they make a sequel and they will give us more variety and more of a story to go along with it.

    I LOVE Titanfall

I love the fluidity of control in Titanfall. Not all love that there's only 6 players per team, but I like the control over the map this gives you. The parkour type movement is great and commanding your giant mech is fun and takes some getting used to to truly master. Looks great and plays great. Note there is no single player campaign, but I didn't mind. I've never done 10 prestiges in a CoD game, but I did it here.

    Really fun... for a while

So I got this game the day it came out. I really liked it and played it for probably 20 or more hours over the first 10 days of ownership. I think I would probably buy it again because there is such an incredibly limited library of Xbox One games. I tend to get bored with a lot of games relatively quickly, so there is a chance that it could be me. Pros: -Completely new take on FPS game. -Controls are really easy -Online play has been stable, only down once when I have tried to play -Wall jumping/parkour is awesome -Lot's of maps, 15, and all are pretty good Cons: -No offline story mode or single player, huge negative for me -When Live is down cannot be played. -Graphics look nearly identical to 360 version, may be an indictment on the whole system more than the game though. -Such a limited arsenal, about 18 (complete guess) weapons total, only a few upgrades for each weapon. More the lack of useful upgrades then weapons is important. -No way to vote out maps or anything in matchmaking. -Original matchmaking was flawed with no emphasis on skill only speed or match. -no customization of character or mech Overall it was fun, probably would have been better to rent it twice though.

    Chaotic and fun

This game actually felt like two games in one. If you're a fan of the CoD series you'll appreciate how crisp the gun play feels. But if you decide to play this game like a CoD game and not take advantage of the unique verticality the game has to offer, you will be owned. When you're on foot the game feels exactly like CoD except through genius implementation of parkour and jet packs you absolutely MUST take advantage of the vertical environments to gain vantage points over enemy. The parkour is intuitively smooth, easy to learn yet difficult to master. But then, you call in your Titan and the entire experience changes. The gameplay, how you approach enemy and how you navigate the battlefield changes drastically, which is why I say this game feels like two games in one. You might do just fine as a lone wolf while on foot but in a titan you must become a team player or you'll suddenly find yourself getting your butt handed to you by a team of well coordinated titans. Overall, this is a unique experience, with satisfying gameplay offering chaotic battles that will have you coming back for more. I give this game a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It doesn't get 5 stars because with the rich lore and potential for single player, the developers (IMO) got lazy and provided us with only a MP experience. Wasted opportunity IMO. So due to lack of a true single player experience, I had to shave off a star. Either way, if you love multiplayer, you'll love this game.

    Great game, lacks content

This game is essentially COD with giant robots. Which means the multiplayer is ridiculously fun, and runs to perfection. The problem is, outside of the multiplayer there isn't much else to do. The lack of single player and multiplayer variety really leaves a lot to be desired. There is a lot of fun to be had playing this, but there are so many other shooters out there that can offer the same fun, but with a lot more variety. If you can get past that, then go for it.

Best game for Xbox One yet!

The multiplayer is pretty flawless. Every single map (9 of them) is fun to play in it's own way. The creators of this game did not put a campaign like battlefield or COD in the game in order to focus all efforts on multiplayer, and it paid off! The challenges and REGEN are actually challenging to complete, which adds a lot more value and enjoyment to the game play.

Refreshing and even more fun than the beta

    Posted .

If you've played the beta, the full, final release, is definitely more fun and enjoyable. For those that haven't played it, it's a very fun, fast-paced first person shooter. It's really fun to be able to run up buildings, wall-run across rooms and buildings. Ever more enjoyable is calling in a Titan and bringing pure chaos to the enemy team, but be careful, you certainly are not invincible. Given a skilled pilot, being in a Titan is not a sure win or too far over powered, so don't let it discourage you to fight one. The campaign mode is far different than any I've seen before. Instead of the usual solo campaign where you simply fight automated bots, this campaign is a mix of attrition (team death match) and hard point (domination) against real players with story line mixed in to give you a reason to fight, and a few unexpected events. Looking to advance to the highest level in the game? Well, it'll be a challenge. Each "Generation" ("Prestige" as Call of Duty calls it.) comes with it's own challenges that you must complete in order to move on to the next generation, getting more and more difficult the higher the generation you are.

In a world where shooters are getting generic this game brings something refreshing to the genre. Sure you can run and gun but once you get in a Titan, everything changes It is so fun and hectic. And the cat and mouse game where you try to bring one of those bad boys down is so exciting and rewarding. My only regret was buying it at full price at $59.99. Must buy right now especially with all the updates and map packs are free. Yes you read right, It is free! Enjoy!

    Great multiplayer, nonexistent single player

I thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent playing Titanfall, and the subsequent patches and upgrades to the game have made it all the better. The multiplayer is extremely smooth, customizing loadouts is great, and calling down a titan from orbit still makes me giddy as a schoolgirl...but Titanfall is severely lacking in some crucial areas. First off, Titanfall has no single-player. All matches are played with other humans always online. Secondly, the "story mode" of Titanfall is just certain types of matches with a 2-minute dialog leading into the match. The outcome of the match has absolutely no standing on the outcome of the story and you can still progress even if you lose the match. The story itself is really stupid and explains next to nothing, it was clearly a last-minute attempt at adding some additional content. Unfortunately, a game can only stand so long on being multiplayer alone before other games come out and take its place. Titanfall is worth a weekend with friends, but beyond that it just feels like 1/2 a game.

    Good game for Multiplayer

I've been playing this game since it came out, this is not the game that designed for story line and you will need XBOX gold to play. Game is keeping update with more feature since it came out, I surprised that that they add some feature later You can use up to three card per each match and it has the card that match for each type of game and map depends on the tactic that you would like to use, you will get more card when you meet the requirement With current feature, you can trade the card to point to buy it later, I think it is the same feeling as ultimate team on Madden or FIFA(You cannot pay by cash for the point which is good), graphic is nice, the balance of the game is great. Addition maps are good as well, worth for season pass Not the same type of map and change background like some other game
