Titanfall is a fun game but for being a online multiplayer only makes the $60 price tag a little steep for what it is. I also own PVZ:GW and that has a better price tag at $40 and for the XB1 having a exclusive offline co op mode makes it better.

From some of the makers of Call of Duty, comes Titanfall. An online multiplayer shooter that sometimes involves robots. Let me make that clear - after you leave the 20 minute tutorial, there is no single player or story. Players are introduced to this "world" by a video clip of less than a minute, half of which depicts real historical events, that are then tied into a future of planetary exploration. Yet, someone just couldn't be completely happy, and found a way to be 100% equal militarily to the large organization they're fighting back against. I know - let's shoot them! I found it to be less game than portal on a disc. You pay $60 for a disc that installs content to connect to EA's servers to download the rest of the content. This could just as easily be a free download and subscription model, and frankly, I think it would have been less deceptive if they had done so, as the disc is useless if EA's servers are not available. You've bought nothing. The player will be offered 2 play modes: campaign, which gives you a team vs. team capture the flag model, except you just have to stand in the vicinity of the non-existent flag to capture it, and classic mode, which is just all out team vs. team kill 'em all. Coincidentally, most players seem to play both modes like classic. That's not really the game maker's fault. Complete with prestige, the level to combat readiness system is right out of Call of Duty franchise, and leaves anyone who spends less than 23 hours a day unable to compete on skill. 3 days into the game's release, I was already running into people who had prestige twice over. I hope they're having fun. As such, if you haven't purchased the game yet, I wouldn't bother, as you will never catch up. Day one players only from now on.

This game is great just as it was advertised. Some people many not like the fact that this game is not a normal campaign/multiplayer setup of more traditional games, but this is one of those games that even when I lose I still have a ton of fun playing it.

This game is fun, it's different, it's entertaining. However, after a couple of games nothing becomes different. It's not quite as playable over time as Call of Duty franchise games are, for me at least, because each game is generally the same.

My grandchildren love this game but for me a little to hard

Refreshing and innovative, Titanfall is a great new game that sets itself apart from your average shooter. Microsoft is Betting a lot on this game to sell consoles and the gameplay is well worth a game of the year contention. You will not be disappointed.

Wouldn't buy it at full price but for under $20 it's worth getting.

Really good game. I am okay at COD but would don't like the experience because I just got back into gaming and the pros in it have a heavy advantage with the perks. This game feels evenly distributed between beginner and advances. You catch on quick too.

Great game can't seem to get enough of playing it. Everyday I seem to be more addicted. Like I almost missed breakfast lunch and dinner during one gaming session. If it wasn't for my dog pestering me to take him for a walk I'd still be lost in the game.

Titanfall is beautiful and the gameplay control is smooth and perfect. You can fight on the ground as a man just as well as you can in a Titan bringing beautiful balance to the game. Different game modes keep different strategies and setups interesting.

I bought this for my husband. He enjoys it so I would say its a winner.

Bought for Grandkids guess they like it they seem to be playing it alot

If you've played COD, you will be right at home with Titanfall. Both play and feel the same, only difference being the mechs in Titanfall. Only buy this if your looking for multiplayer fun though as the single player is virtually nonexistent

Great game bad timing for release it didn't get the attention it deserved

Great first person shooter. I put it above Call of Duty and Battlefield.

This game is a blast to play. The online aspects are incredibly unique and keep things fresh from match to match. The biggest disappointed was the lack of a true single player experience. For $60, I was hoping for more of a complete package.

So far this game rocks. I'm not overly impressed with the fact that a foot soldier can take out a Titan quickly or that it's only 6v6. This game is ACHING for a single player storyline driven campaign. It's a nice blend between Halo and COD.
