I bought this to replace a Tivo Premiere 4 when the remote control became broken. A new remote was going to cost $25.00 and the new Tivo Roamio OTA was only $50.00. This works great and gets better reception than my old Tivo. The best part is I now have four tuners instead of just two, so I never miss a program.

This is a great product to record OTA shows. The down side is that you need to purchase a monthly subscription to activate TIVO and see the TV schedule.

I bought this so I would not have to pay the big bucks for Comcast or deal with their customer service dept. ever again. I'm very pleased. Easy to set up and doesn't take up much space. The Tivo monthly fee along with Netflix and Hulu Plus combined is still less expensive than cable.

This is just what I was looking for. I have not had pay tv for several years now but need a Tivo to record shows. This is perfect for the OTA users like myself who would like all of the benefits of the higher end Tivo for half the price. Works great. Records 4 shows at a time and I have yet to go over 30% of the storage capacity.

Setup was easy and it seems to work fine. There was no manual with it, and none online, so it is a bunch of trial and error trying to figure out how things work. I know that I am not taking advantage of all the features, because I have no idea what they might be since there is no owners manual. Some devices hook to the internet and have help menus that provide help online. If it is available I haven't found it I will have to contact support and see if there is a file that I can download.

Works great for antenna and watching Netflix and recording shows. believe me paying Tivo is a lot better then paying hundreds every mo to cable or Directv for the junk thats no there now. if your looking to but up a antenna and do some netflix now and then, you will love this DVR.

I love this box. Finally I can catch up on all my free shows that I miss when at work and school.

Great way to record OTA, no more cable. $50 is a great price for this DVR. Can watch Netflix and Hulu and remote is easy to use.

This system works great to allow us to record key programs we enjoy on broadcast TV channels. We eliminated cable and Direct TV. By staying up with shows, we have had no problems with the small hard drive.

Simple: If you don't have one get one!! Yes, there is some hassle getting everything connected and Time Warner Cable require that you have the Cisco Tuner (it is free) and you do have to get one of those cards to plug into the back of the Tivo but once that is done you get all the connections and that includes Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime and several more. Picture is great and the menus are excellent. And unlike the TW Dvr the quality of the build of the TIVO is excellent. It should last forever. If you move and TW or Comcast are in your area you can still use this device.

This system is great if you want to cut the cord from cable. Wish there was a lifetime subscription.

This thing is fantastic! Using this with a TiVo mini, Chromecast and Plex media server, there is no need for big cable. I get all the major networks OTA and the rest I stream with Netflix and Amazon prime (finally added to TiVo!!)

I don't have cable or satellite tv and don't want or need it. I just wanted the ability to record broadcast tv. This gave me that ability and every day I am learning new advantages with the system, like the option of getting all episodes of my favorite shows not just the ones I've recorded. Easy to set up. Great for my needs.

I purchased the original Tivo and then used the Tivo service through DirecTV. I purchased this one to watch OTA broadcasts and consolidate all the programming available through Netflix, Hulu and others. This is an excellent product and keeps getting better through updates. Only had it a few months and already have great new updates. I enjoy being able to watch all the episodes available through Amazon Prime, in order - all queued up and ready to play though, same on Netflix. Picked up all my OTA channels - with a good antenna - from 50 miles away. Loving this Tivo.

I was getting ready to cut the cord, but there was just one problem...recording shows so I can watch them later. The TiVo Roamio OTA solved this problem right away and for a reasonable price. Not only that, but it solved some streaming problems I had because of being in a rural area. I would highly recommend this device.

Easy to use. Great replacement for cable dvr. Made cutting cable an easier transition.

If you have decided to cut the cable bill out of your life but still need a DVR, then this is a great bargain. it has all of the features that the basic Tivo Roamio has but uses over the air.

My Tivo is a really good product I will probably purchase another one some time this year for my upstairs bedroom. Thanks so much I differently will recommend this product to friends and family.

This DVR works great. It has a better tuner in it then any of my TV's. I live in a weak signal area and I get a lot less signal loss with the TiVo.

Product fine -- check required subscription rates prior to purchase. Best Buy experience was very good.
