If you want to cut cost of cable this is the way to go! Only 15 bucks a month! It goes great with my Roku 3.

This was the first of the Roamio OTA series. It does exactly what a Tivo is supposed to do, except that it only works for OTA channels and a few streaming services (i.e. Hulu) that the user also subscribes to. Note that the service charge is $15 per month , or $150 per year, or $549 for the lifetime of the device; the latter is absurd, as one can get a newer model of this for less than that with no service charge for the life of that device.

I love this product! I was tired of giving the cable company all my money, so I switched to antenna, but I really missed having a DVR. When the TiVo Roamio came out, it answered what I needed. I know can happily record up to 4 shows at a time! I love it!

best thing we ever bought should have bought this long ago and used it for out tv watching.

I was looking for an inexpensive video recorder to records programming but over antennea TV. I purchased the TiVo Roamio for way less than expected and received more functions than just recording. I had to opt in for the TV programming, but it gives me video streaming along with the recorded programming. I'm happy!

This is one of the greatest bargains ever. However, knowing exactly what I wanted didn't help when Best Buy concealed it among the HD antennas. This is a DVR, NOT an ANTENNA! Apparently an electronics store that doesn't understand electronics. Please move this over to the other DVR's so people can find it!!!!!

Purchased as an R and D exercise to compare OTA tv to cable. The TiVo box performs great. The subscription fee is a little pricey for one year. Purchased a Geek Squad warranty too: a great price!

We are still working with all the dynamics of the TiVo, but so far it is awesome and so much cheaper than DirecTV and Dish!

this is the best TiVo yet not only is it a TiVo unit but it also is a video streaming box and it is great with many many apps to choose from

This is a very economical way for enhancing TV watching via my digital antena. Now I can watch my favorite shows at my convenience!

I have always found that I like to watch tv when I want to instead of when someone else has dictated. This is just what I needed.

its okay but think its cheaper to use another method without having pay a monthly subscription + contract.

Compared to its competitors, TiVo offers a premier product with its built in guide and streaming capabilities. I find it works best when connected through ethernet which offers expandability to other TiVo products on my wifi network and a more dependable streaming experience.

I didn't get a chance to fully utilize this item due to the fact that I didn't have Internet connection. But if I did, I would def.ly would rebuy this. Easy setup. Overall very nice. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I never got a chance to use the tivo

I purchased this to cut the cord. My house was pre-wired for cable, and I had an over the air antenna installed and decided to use the Tivo for my dvr. It does more than just dvr, and so far I am thrilled with it, especially the button that fast forwards through commercials! Easy to set up, easy to use!

Worth the money. Easy set up. Works great, as expected.
