So far I have found that WIFI works only half the time.

Excellent unit for off air channels, very quick to set up and use.

We bought this for my mother-in-law who was tired of having to deal with her cable company. Attaching a powered antennae to this made it possible for her to get all her PBS shows and local news without have ing to pay for cable. Nice.

I have antennae tv so being able to record shows is very nice.

The TiVo Roamio OTA is a good way to transition yourself from the cable provider DVR services. Costs about the same for the service but help record the major network shows you might miss during work or when your busy with kids.

After some servicing the computer has been functioning. However, I still experience with shifting the message up and down. The frame of the message is not visible or very light. The arrow is not visible or very light.

Being able to record shows for only $15 a month is amazing. After waiting for over a year for them to come out with it the way it was definitely worth it I would recommend this anybody I definition television signals over the money well spent

A good over the air(OTA) digital video recorder. Too bad Tivo keeps changing its product line and discontinuing item like this! Lifetime subscription pricing is also too high for its service. Thanks for your low clearance price on this dvr Best Buy!

It seemed like a great product, but I didn't realize that I needed to also pay for a subscription so I I ended up returning it.

Just cut the cord so it's great for $ saving, but it does not have all the features that the hopper has. Over all it's saving me $450 annually so I think it's well worth it.

There needs to be more internet apps on it. For example-sharetv.com where you can watch network TV shows directly from the network.

I am one of those dummies who thought I was buying a DVR, not a subscription service... Yeah, You'll pay $15 a month for the life of the TiVo... so if you came here thinking what I thought, run away. Save $50 and the $15 a month. I'd rather rig up a PC to do this.

Works as described and doesn't seem to degrade signal. Purchased primarily to use as DVR for OTA channels. Monthly fee is a bit high, but the subscription is needed.

It is a good bang for the buck. It includes a remote control, 500g hard drive, and great programming guide. I use it to record the pbs shows for my kids. All the shows are from over air broadcasting. They love the recorded shows.

Great product for the money. I unplugged from Cable and still can watch most of my favorite shows when I want.

Very happy with my new dvr. It works great. Was a little disappointed that i have to pay for the service. Noone told.me about having to pay for theservice.

I’m a cord cutter and appreciate the flexibity for OTA recording that TIVO allows me. Got this new TIVO for just a bit more than the cost of a new TIVO remote alone! Highly recommend.

I don't like paying for repeated monthly costs. That's why I disconnected from DirecTV and Comcast. Now I'm just over the air and happy with the local channels. I also get Internet from Comcast at the slower speed. In that manner I'm able to use Netflix or Amazon to watch the program that I want to want to watch what I want to watch it. I'm a cord cutter. If people want my business to go I have to offer lower prices.

I kind of like the device but ended up returning it. Must of the shows I recorded were flickering and having problems with image after only two days.... Customer service offered me 3 free month to stay with them but when a product is giving you problems right after first time use ..... It's not a good sign. If they would offer lower monthly price or lifetime guide for a decent price I would consider...
