It's great for free tv. Being able to watch our shows not now but later.

Nice to record up to 4 shows at a time and control it from another room.

Works as stated. Yes you need a subscription but 14.99 is far cheaper then cable and dish to have a Dvr.

We purchased the TiVo unit to get rid of Dish. We are saving a ton of money by doing so. The unit allows us to record and playback all our usual shows, which are mainly available on major local networks broadcast OTA. For those that are harder to find the TiVo is also a streaming service media player. Quality of picture and number of channels depends on the quality of your antenna in conjunction with your proximity to and physical obstructions to broadcast towers in your area. I could live without the $15/month service fee and two year service agreement.

Not so happy about subscription fee but do feel its worth it. Netflix, Hulu, YouTube all work very well.

If I had known the quality of OTA TV and the TIVO service, I would have dropped cable years ago. I'll be PRing the two from now on and deeply wish someone had done the same for me long before a good friend did.

I decided to start down the Cord cutting road and this was a good start. Give me the DVR that I was use to. Also getting to have access to online services is nice and convenient. I also use a TIVO mini and connect it to this DVR. for the price, this is a good investment.

I never knew TiVo was such a good product. I cut the cable recently and wish I would have done so earlier. For $15 a month, I was able to cancel my $111 a month satellite bill. Not understanding the people who complain about the $15 or not being able to purchase a lifetime plan.

This was really the only option we had to have a DVR for our network TV shows after getting rid of cable. So far it has lived up to the hype. I think the navigation could be simplified, seems to be a lot of stuff in the menu that we really could do without. But overall it's simple to install, get started, and use. The biggest drawback is the $15/mon. service fee to use it. I have already recommended this product to friends and family.

Does just what I wanted. Watching shows I was missing.

This is a cord cutters best friend. We have attached to our HD projector, best tuner we've owned. The guide and new One pass system is the best by far of all the OTA tuners available. The only drawback and it's steep is the monthly payment of $15 for the TIVO service. There currently is no yearly or lifetime purchase available.

I love the convenience and price point for my Tivo. The only drawback is you can't purchase lifetime service, you must pay for monthly service so Tivo can re-coup the units cost. It is very reliable and has plenty of HD DVR hours.

I save $85 a month by dropping cable. I love that I can record my favorite shows. Very cool feature is that I can set the machine to record shows from my computer at work. I recommend this to anyone.

After getting rid of cable, I needed a way to record and store the broadcast shows that come over the air for free. Tivo's roamio does just that as long as you have an antenna. Haven't had any issues yet after a month.

Just what we needed for one of the TVs. Able to records the shows we want on it.

The Roamio OTA over the air unit works perfectly.. IT does all of the functions that the old Directv DVR did and a few more features. Love it and never going back to payed TV to watch shortened shows so that more comercials can be added.. TIVO is wonderful..

Yeah you have to subscribe to a $15 monthly payment but the quality is worth it. I just wish I had a better antenna location to pick up all the channels available to me. Also, learning the system takes a min.

I knew I wanted to cut my cable. This pulls in about 16 stations for me plus with the 4 heads I can record my favorite shows to watch later. I have been very pleased with my TiVo. Plus you have the various apps for Netflix, Primeand others.
