After several years old TiVo hard drive failed. Since I have antenna only, the only replacement was the Roamio ATA recorder. Easy hookup and running in less than an hour. Only feature I miss from old box is there is no video/audio outputs.

Great price for a OTA DVR! You still have to pay TiVo $15 a month, but with four tuners it is the best DVR price around.

Great Digital Video Recorder Device and also great buy for the money

I am not real techno savvy. I finally managed to get the TIVO working and set up with a lot of tech support 's help. Now that it is working, I love it and it's convenience. I love being able to record more than 1 show at once. It is small and low profile looking.

This DVR is is now my favorite electronic device. It gives me power over the 20 or so broadcast channels that I can receive. Once we got the dvr registered and took care of some minor setup it has worked perfectly . For a machine that can record up to 4 shows hooks up wirelessly and has 500 gb storage, hooks up to Internet for streaming and sells for $50 that makes me very happy!

Does a great job of recording ota shows. Tuner is very strong. Also nice apps for netflix, amazon and hulu. A little awkward to get to them though. One really nice thing is the one pass that combines all episodes from the streaming services. Works well.

We are workingon cutting the cord. After looking at option and programing we found tivo and tablo. Both have a fee but tablo was a little new and funtion on roku (not abad thing), also needed to buy a hard drive. In as much as we are new to cord cutting we went with the name that was time tested. This unit is much like the tivo bolt (no 4k and dose not stream to tablet). It dose have streaming for hulu, amazon, Netflix, youtube, and a few others (no network yet). Search works great and will point you to streaming services that you have setup.

I got this 49.99 Tivo to see how it worked with my new HD external antenna. I know that 14.99/mo for Tivo goes against what most cord cutters want unlike other HD OTA DVR's, the guide and info quality you get from Tivo beats all the others out there. It's worth the price if you want up to date and 99% accurate TV listing and info.

Have been using this for a year, since I "cut the cord." Works great, easy to setup, very intuitive to use, absolutely trouble free. Only complaint is that TIVO keeps updating my channel list with stations that, while in my area, cannot be received or watched. A a result, the program guide gets filled with programming info for stations I cannot watch. You can remove them from the guide, but it is a rather tedious process. Would much prefer that TIVO let user decide when, or if, to add channels.

This little machine has freed me from all cable and satellite providers. I now have twice the selection for half the money. I cut the cable and won't be looking back!!!

After three weeks I am fairly satisfied, the access to recorded programs could be more direct and there have been problems maintaining the connection to netflix.

Definitely worth the money! easy to install and operate, it's worth the monthly fee for the subscription because it's cheaper than the price you pay for cable DVR.

used this to replace a Direct TV DVR, I get all my major networks in HD with DVR features for $14 a month vs over $100 with Direct TV

I purchased this tivo after I canceled my Direct TV account. I was paying 110.00 a month. Now I only pay 15.00 a month. Works great!!

I love my Tivo!! Now I don't have to sign up with expensive TV packages!!
