Very artistic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kendrick takes us through what it is like to be a black person/black man in America, reaching back from slavery, from the perspective of a wealthy man to one who is poor and has nothing. He addresses Trayvon Martin and the word negus. He suffers through hate and depression and basks in love. He criticizes police violence on black youth but still tells us that we have to confront black on black violence too. He guides us with Nelson Mandela's example and has a poignant dialogue with Tupac, and at the end reminds us that we're the ones we've been waiting for. All in less than 80 minutes. And I know there's more as I'm still trying to digest it.
