Kendrick Lamar has been releasing rap albums since the early 2010s and each one is a worthwhile buy. One of the best (perhaps the best) rap artist to release music since the start of this decade. Any of his albums is recommended.

I had been rocking with K Dot for a while. I loved Good Kid, Maad City. I also feel DAM.N was the album of the year last year so I doubled back to pick up this album. Im really enjoying it

Kendrick swung for the fences and broke the homerun record. Creative, cohesive, and classic. Pushes the envelope while staying rooted in hip-hop much like Outkast did with their albums. MUST HAVE!

After listening to his first album i was disappointed with this one. I thought it was going to blow the 1st album away but it doesn't even come close, well at least in my opinion.

To Pimp A Butterfly is unlike any rap or hip-hop album I have ever heard, but it is well worth listening to and being taken on a whole new journey.

This album really just didn't work very well. The lyrics were great, the music was great, the beats were great, but put together it wasn't good.

The packaging tells a story as well as the album itself, definitely pushed Kendrick to the elite status as far as an artist and Lyricist!

This album is by far one of his most underrated projects but it's lyrical content covers an array of subjects within those sixteen tracks.

Had a few decent songs or two, not a great cd. Too much spoken poetry, I was never a fan of Def Jam poetry hour.
