    King Kendrick

Where is the crown? The king of rap is back and he's not going anywhere. This album will be played and digested by audiophiles and average joe's over and over again for years to come. An instant classic that shakes our culture and questions our soul. The most relevant, revealing piece of art sold on shelves Get it now. It says its still on preorder but Im on my game and got it 10 minutes after Kendrick release tweet. To pimp a butterfly is epic. This monarch is monumental.

    Amazing album

This album is completly amazing. If youre a person who doesnt take music seriously and only likes the hits, this album is not for you. This album is for the people who listen to the lyrics, try to find ideas from it and listen to music deeply. Kendrick kills it on this album as he tries to move towards a more revolutionary rap approach. He expesses ides of self- improvement, hypocrasy and so much more. The reason that people say g.k.m.c was better is because it was engineered to be. That album was made to sound more main stream and to sound more appealing, but now kendrick is changing his direction and choosing to speak on more real issues now that he has our attention, real rap. Those people who gave this album a low rating are your average go with the crowd people.

    Excellent and Meaningful Piece

At first it took me a while to understand the album but when I listened to it a couple of times, I realized when Kendrick was going with it and I appreciated it. Deifnitely something for the "real" musichead to love. He was really in a vulnerable place when creating the album. I love it more and more everytime I listen to it.

    REAL MUSIC

If your not mentally focused and want to keep partying this surely is not the album for you. Its real, its raw and with Dr Dre on the beats OMG! I am impressed that Kendrick at such a young age is not afraid to speak truth as well as expose his flaws as a man and an artist on a large platform. But like I said everything is not for everyone. If you just want to dance and get high you should stay in your lane.... I LOVE IT!!

Another classic by Kdot. Different sound and vibe than his previous albums, but still contains great messages and lyricism. The last track will leave you with chills.

too much P-funk in this cd...kind've sounded like he was trying to infuse some west coast vibe into it, but Parliament pretty much hijacked this cd. If you're into that sound, you'll like it, but for those not used to that then save your money. Just an ok cd.

One of the best albums of the year. Kendrick Lemar delivers one of the most sonically eclectic and varied sounding records. Mix of hip hop, r&b, and jazz. Lyrical content is as poignant as ever.

Has a old school west funk but it doesn't sound like a west coast rapper like Snoop or Ice Cube or Dre doesn't sound anything like west coast and all that yelling on the track for what he's not DMX lupe Fiasco album sounds way better
