Tomb Raider was a major breakout game on the PS1 and it spawned Lara Croft into a cultural icon with movies propelling her to become one of the most famous female gaming icons there exists, even today. Tomb Raider was recreated and reimagined for the last generation of consoles into an almost prequel showing off Lara Croft's formation as a character. And here it is in full HD completely remastered as the Definitive Edition. The game is a good mix of survival and action adventure that rivals and complements Sony's own Uncharted series. It's a fun ride here for sure and as my first Tomb Raider game, it has me interested in trying more.

This is great to see Tomb Raider get remastered for these new generation of consoles. This is a very challenging and compelling game. Fine graphics that are refined for the new generation of consoles and the gameplay is easy to pick up. Great story, this is a great way to reboot the Tomb Raider franchise.

Bought Tomb Raider as my second game for PS4. Learning curve is easy and the game has awesome graphics. Fun to play and the puzzles aren't too hard to figure out. Haven't finished it yet, but so far it's great.

I like the game graphics and controls compared to the old games on ps2. More of a nostalgic buy.

This a huge step up from its predecessors. The graphics look really life like and smooth play throughout the game.

Note: I did not play this for ps3, despite having a ps3 and the ps+ copy of the game, so common criticisms will not be taken into account. Obviously you have to really like a game to play it (moreover purchase it) twice. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The story was exciting and episodic enough that you can leave the game at a camp site and go away, come back, and not be lost. There is good feedback, the vibration, sound, and animation for all weapons, this, to me, is uncommon in 3rd person games and made the experience enjoyable. I have not touched the multiplayer so I cannot comment on that. Great game, I advise picking it up if you are eager for uncharted and have a ps4.

I gave this game a 4 it has an amazing story great gameplay and amazing graphics. The reason it didn't get a 5 is because the multi-player is really not that great but the campaign/ story mode is definitely worth the $30. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an exciting single player game.

Game kept me interested for some time before I finished it. I recommend it to most any game player.

After recently purchasing a PS4, I researched which games had the highest ratings. This was one of them. So, I decided to purchase it. The pre-owned price was very affordable and when it arrived, it was in flawless condition! It was worth every penny - I will leave it at that.

great game for any gamer or lara craft fan. i'm so glad that they rebooted the series, completely different from the past tomb raider games of the past

This is a teboot of the famous Tomb Raider series. You play as Lara Croft and your mission is to, well, raid tombs. That is the core gameplay throughout the series. In this remake, you still have that but also you must survive against the wild and other humans. Think Uncharted but instead with a girl. This is more gritty than previous entries but darn it, this game is great. The atmosphere and scenes are amazing. Gameplay is fluid. And the music score gives you a sense of adventure. Please note that the new Rise of the Tomb Raider is out and it also gives you this game plus the newer one.

I never got a chance to play this on PS3 Im glad it was moved to the 4. Classic TR Adventure

This game is pretty awesome. I love the Uncharted series and this game is very similar. It's just as good. Good story, good controls, good leveling up system.

Awesome story and fun multiplayer. Tons of replay value. Graphics are amazing and gameplay utilizes the DualShock4 controller. Definitely would recommend for anyone with a PS4

Tomb Raider is by far one of the best games I have ever played. Action packed and easy to use for an old time gamer like me. Great control and terrific graphics on my PS4.

I absolutely love this game! I love games that feature females as the main character because I myself am a female. It is so much fun and so different than the tomb raider I was used to playing as a kid. A good different. Just a different story line to enjoy!
