I was a huge fan of the THPS series growing up and played them religiously as a kid. When I heard they were remastering arguably the best two games in the series, it was a guaranteed buy for me. This game has everything you loved about THPS 1 & 2, plus more. Nothing has been changed about the game as all the core mechanics and what made the game so great still remains. Vicarious Visions knew not to taken something that was not broken and try and fix it, but rather take what was already great and add on. The gameplay is still the same and has not changed, in fact executing tricks seems a little easier to do besides its older counter part. The fantastic track to the two games returns with the addition of several newer songs as well, one of the biggest things that made THPS so fun to play. They also added in new challenges to every level, skater specific challenges, difficulty challenges and so much more giving players countless hours of play. There are more skaters added to the mix as well as your ability to custom make your own skater with tons of customization options. Create a park also returns and with the addition to create your own park and upload online for others to enjoy.

This game is so much fun! Even after beating the games, there are so many challenges to accomplish and it has online multiplayer to keep you playing for a long time. Activision did a great job with remaking both of these games. They’re exactly how I remember them but better! I hope they remake the rest of the tony hawk series.

At a time when it seemed video games couldn’t be art, Tony Hawk Pro Skater was released in the late 90s to make everyone want to get a skateboard. Nostalgia at its fullest in the remake. The game brings back all the classic memories of the 90s when fired up. One of the best remakes ever done ! Don’t sleep on this game !

I purchased this game for my son’s birthday after he originally told me that he wasn’t interested in owning it. He’s a avid skateboarder and loves skateboarding games. I guess he imagined that it would be old fashion since it was a remake. After playing it he absolutely loves it and is super happy that I purchased it.

Now THIS is how you do a remake. So much fun the original soundtrack and even some of the newer songs fits PERFECTLY with the game. I love all the customization. I hate how you have to pay for the Ps5 update when other Activision games are free (Ya looking at you Crash) but the game itself is great

Played the first go around on this game; decided to play the remaster with my preteen kiddo. We are having a blast. The levels look fantastic and the moves from THPS 2 are included in THPS 1. There are lots of fun challenges spanning both games as well as the challenges per location. Great game for a great price.

This game brings back fond memories of playing Tony hawk on the PlayStation 2. It's an excellent game for people who are not very good at video games - me. Cheat codes are especially helpful (and moderately amusing) and starting the game with all levels unlocked in Free Skate so you can practice is wicked.

Nostalgia is there but not much else. It's been a while since I played and it was nice to see all the old haunts in better detail but I won't be completing it.

Remaster is looking great. Still trying to get my skills back but the nostalgia with this game is on point. Will update when I get a bit further into the game.

I spent so many hours playing in college with friends on the N64 and couldn't wait to dive in. Was it always that difficult to master or am I just getting older.

Tony Hawk 1+2 is a great modern day update of 2 seminal action sports games from 20 years ago. Featuring modern visuals and polished skateboarding action, this is one of the best remaster of the market and the return for the series fans have been waiting for. Highly recommend for new players as well.

This game is exactly like I remember it... better! It was one of my all time favorites so I had to grab the remastered release. I wish all the original music was there... but that’s a minor detail as a lot of it is. If you were a fan or have always been curious what the hype is all about, pick it up!

Yo it’s your boy Hot Brandy with another wicked review. Tony Hawk is back at it again and this time he made better graphics for PS4. Look for letters, collect the tapes, get the points. You’ll never forget it. Highly recommend this game for my skateboys and skategirls our there. Wreck it, muchachos!

We get exactly what we asked for here and it has been fantastic. All the levels, all the skaters (plus more) and tons of great skate tracks. Couple wonky elements in the character creator that took a minute for me to comprehend, but hardly a real issue. This is fun, fun, fun, through and through.

This game takes me back to the 90's. The gameplay is exactly the same for anyone who has played before, easy to learn for players who have no experience. If you like to earn challenges while skateboarding this game has got you covered. This is not simulation style play.

Great game i remember playing it years ago on the 64

Great game, it brings back memories of the original from 20 years ago. The graphics are great and the game is easy to play but the challenges are difficult but not impossible to do. If anything, I miss the music from the original, several of the songs from the past are missing.

Upon hearing this game was being remade I was struck with nostalgia. The remaster completely lives up to the originals that I spent more time than I would like to admit playing during my childhood. The soundtrack keeps true as well. If you played either of these two you must buy.

If you grew up playing this on the 64 or PlayStation this is catered to you. The HD upgrade is beautiful the maps are the same but better. There's more options, create a character and basically level that character up or you can skate with one of your old faves. Tons of unlockable' s and progression, so you won't get too bored at first. The online is meh it's fun for what it is, the original soundtracks are on there as well while you shred. Like I said if you want to feel nostalgic and play a great skating game? Pick this up for $30 it's worth the upgrade.
