Everything you loved about the original is here, including the same soundtrack in addition to new skaters and music. Textures, character models and customization of your skater give THPS a fresh look and feel without the loss of physics that the last remake had. Thoroughly enjoying the play through and custom park editor. My only gripe comes in the lack of private lobbying with multiplayer. Really not a fan of playing against 6 random people and a few friends, would prefer to just skate and chat with buddies while not being interrupted by a punk 7 year old in his parents basement.

I still own the original two games on N64 and would play them on occasion. When I heard this game came out, I just had to buy it. It plays exactly like the original, except the graphics are enhanced and many features of the game are also enhanced. The training seems better, the tricks seem different, the interface is changed for the better, and the music is updated a bit...this last part I'm a bit sad on as there are songs from the original but I feel as if I don't hear them as much as I'd like to. My son also loves playing the game and didn't seem too interested in playing them on the N64 but now that it's on Xbox, he plays it all the time.

If it wasn't for the controller I'm playing with and the updated graphics everything is still just flowing like back in the day. The graphics, soundtrack, game play is awesome. Glad I made this purchase

THPS 1 and 2 were two of my favorite games as a kid and the people at Vicarious Visions studios carried on the legacy that Neversoft created in the original releases. It's hard to play a remastered game and expect the same game from the original releases or even a better one but that's exactly what VV did. They took two amazing games and made them even better. While the base and foundation of the games are the same they have added new content and skaters and improved the way you can create your own skater and dress your player as you see fit. All the original challenges are in the game plus there are a few new ones and some hidden easter eggs. Definitely a great game to own at a great price point.

The BEST video games ever made, are now remade for current generation of consoles/hardware. How can this NOT be a 5* rating? If you were a kid back in 1999 when the original was released, you'd know how much of an awesome game this was. Fast forward 20 years later, and they've literally just upgraded the graphics and kept the core mechanics the same. PERFECTION! I love skateboarding, and even with the wildness of doing unrealistic tricks, I still love this game. If you're looking for a skateboarding simulation game, check out Session (or Project Session) on Steam/Xbox Early Access. Session is the best for realistic skating, and THPS is the best for insanity and just having fun.

Great game has plenty of nostalgia from childhood. Would recommend to anyone who loves playing the original game and graphics are a plus. Always the best brand of skate game.

A classic worth playing. I love this game, the music is some of the best out there and the game is tons of fun to play which is why it was remaked.

Along with the professionals returning from the previous games (who have all been aged, and thus feel fresh again) there is a flood of recent talents added, too. Coupled with the new additions to the soundtrack that instantly gel with the rest of the package, you have an overall game that honors the current skateboarding culture. A return to the welcoming arcade-like gameplay of the franchise while giving everything a fresh coat of paint for the new era. This could be the start of the grand, new wave for the Tony Hawk's brand, and, even if it's not, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is the king's return to the throne.

I was randomly strolling through Best Buy when I noticed this Re-Introduced TH ProSkater one and two for the Xbox One. My brain ran through my N64 days with Nostalgia and I just had to have it to relive it again! After purchasing this game I felt like I was a kid again blazing through the content and probably sat in front of my TV for days. Was worth the buy for anyone that remembers the old game from back in the day. Get it if you never have played it... Get if if you played it before and loved it... You will love it again!!!

Just like I remember, it just looks much better. I'm out of practice, so it's taking me a minute to get back in it, but all the controls are the same

They took everything from the original THPS 1 and 2; added in some of the great features from other THPS games like revert, wall jumps, etc. and then on top of that added in a cool and fun trophy/achievement menu, shop, extended the create a park game mode, and absolutely nailed the graphics and gameplay. It plays so smooth, something other 'remakes' couldn't do well.

The game feels as good as it did when we all played the original. Except now we can bring in a whole new younger audience in to this timeless classic. The gameplay is smoother, the tricks have been adjusted by way of them adding some tricks that only appeared in the later games in the series (But you can revert to the original trick set in the settings menu), and the art style is a nodern twist that still makes you feel like it's the exact way it was in 1999. 10/10!! Will forever be a go to party game with friends over co-oping on our couches.

This game really brings me back to the old versions I enjoyed as a kid! Great graphics improvements and it's super easy to pick back up.

This game brought me back 20 years to the originals. Graphics are amazing and the game play is just like the original, which is nice.

Fantastic remaster. The soundtrack has all the staples from back in the day plus some awesome additions. And the gameplay is very smooth.

Love the remaster, I missed this game for a long time. Really enjoyable in 4k HDR and worth every penny due to the nostalgia.

There's a clear emphasis to make this a near 1-1 recreation of the original games, with obvious improvements to visuals, in-game quality of life improvements, and additional options outside of original game contents themselves. Gave me immediate nostalgia right from the opening screens, and though I haven't owned it too long, I can tell I will be spending plenty of time in this game. Must buy for anyone who loved the originals and wants to experience it all again in a more clean, updated package.

What a great couple games remastered for a new generation. Great graphics. Classic soundtrack and great park creator.
