Amazing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have litterally listened to nothing but this album for the last 2 days, that's how much I love it! And after just 3 days of even knowing the band existed, I also bought tickets to their upcoming show. They remind me of a mix between MGMT and Does It Offend You, Yeah? with a touch of Rilo Kiley. If you have heard anything by this group, it's probably "Pumped Up Kicks." It's one of about 5 songs that I consider my favorites. "Houdini" and "Helena Beat" are also not to be missed!!!

Beautifully crafted, amazing tone, near perfection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this album. I found out about this band long before "Pumped Up Kicks" blew up on the radio (not to sound like a hipster) and I fell in love with the songs like "I would do anything for you", "Life on the Nickel", "Helena Beat" and "Miss You" - ironically with Pumped up Kicks being one of my least favorite songs by them. This album, however, is the only album I can say that I enjoyed every single song on. That is rare to find in most Alternative bands, or any band in general. Definitely worth the money - and I highly recommend buying the physical CD as opposed to a digital download. It's that worth it.

Great Album
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hadn't known that I knew so many Foster the People songs until I started researching if I wanted to pick up this album or not. Obviously I knew Pumped up Kicks, but Helena Beat was really the song that got me hooked. Then I find out that two or three more were being extensively used in tv commercials, I just had no idea they were their songs. Album tapers off a bit in the end. But overall I really enjoy their sound.

solid debut
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After (of course) hearing "Pumped Up Kicks" and "Helena Beat", I had high expectations for this album. I wasn't disappointed too much. The first half of the album is great. It's unique and flows very well. After the first couple tracks, one will begin to noticed a bit of too much similarity in the songs, however, they still deliver. Overall, a cool listen. If you haven't already, pick this up...your subwoofer will thank you.
