Researched replacing my two terabyte drives. Thought about sticking with Western Digital but for the price and performance these drives were a better deal. Cheaper, better performance and excellent warranty. I bought two drives both are performing very well.

This 4TB hard drive is an excellent drive for the price and also has a very good warranty. Quiet and cool....and very fast with a 7200RPM disk and 128MB cache buffer! You won't be disappointed.

This is my first Toshiba drive and I'm quite pleased with it. It's quiet, quick and offers a significant amount of space for a good price.

Drive works well in MythTV Ubuntu box. No problems for large video files. Easy to install and runs quiet. BestBuy pick-up very easy to use.

Easy to install and all went smoothly. Only negative is it is a bit loud when processing data. I had this with another aftermarket drive in my older PC so maybe that is just how aftermarket drives work. Otherwise so far so good.

As with any hard drive, the proof will be in the longevity of the drive. But for an initial response, the drives are quiet, fast, and formatted without any issues. Using them in a 4 bay Drobo on an iMac running OS 10.8.5. Did the customer in-store pickup too, took all of three minutes for the store transaction. Very pleased so far. Thanks Best Buy!

Decided to go with any brand but Seagate as I got burned with last Seagate HDD failing in 11th month of use. Toshiba seem to have generally good review and Bestbuy had great price. Noisier than Seagate, but will live with it as long as it holds up well. No issues so far.

It Is Very Fast and quite, Perfect for beginner setup

I bought four of these drives: two for my Nexstar external hard drive enclosure and two for my desktop. Got them to work without any hassle. The drives are a bit noisier than I expected but it's not a big deal to me.

With 4tb and great mechanical drive speed I strongly recommend this 4tb HDD. I keep all of my games and video files that do not fit in my main ssd drive in this 4tb drive but even when I have to run games directly from this drive I still get very decent loading time.

WD's reputation for quality drives shortened my search, and I wasn't dissapointed.

I popped this drive in my Drobo, and it's been humming along perfectly ever since.

This has good speed for the price. I am using in a nas and no problems.
