    I bought this TV in February 2023, the backlight just went out today, sound but no picture. I have done all of the troubleshooting steps that Toshiba recommended but since this is no longer under warranty, (1 Year is all it had) I am left shopping for a new TV. This is a very costly TV for the use that I got out of it and will not be buying a Toshiba again

    This tv looks really good but has some audio issues and it lasted 2 years and almost 4 months, today i got audio but no picture and a pulsing redlight, the backligh is dead.

    Good TV and functionality but the color rendering is horrible. Tried so many settings but just can't get ot right.

    I bought this TV in November 2022. I have been very unhappy with its overall performance. First off, the audio is terrible. No matter how you try to adjust, it just sounds like its echoing in a canyon. But that issue pales to the intermittent white/black line going through the lower third of the screen. This started about 10 months of usage. The colors are washed out and contrast is mediocre at best. I would strongly consider any other brand outside of this!

    I found the audio to be very poor, sounding hollow as if it were coming through a pipe. At times, the audio would completely stop and I would have to unplug the television or switch channels to get the audio to come back on. I returned the first Toshiba television and got a second. Unfortunately the second Toshiba television was just as bad as the first. Pay a little bit more and get the Samsung 50 inch television

    I really wanted to like this tv, but the picture quality on the one that I purchased was sub-par, too bright and colors were washed out. It took a lot of research on my part to even figure out how to change the picture settings. Maybe I got a dud, but its too much money for me to pay and not be happy with the product.

    I bought this TV based on the reviews here and they could not be more wrong! it is a terrible TV the picture is sooo bad all pixelated from some inputs like fire tv and I know is the tv, because I have a 10 year old Samsung 1080p that has way better picture and I run the same content and on the Samsung the same scenes do not show pixelation. Unfortunately I am past my 15 days so I can't return it so I will donate it and get the tax deduction or give it to my kids if they don't mind for their room or sale it. It is only 3 weeks old and makes me mad every time I am watching it and see the pixelation. Again you get what you pay for. BTW in the dark screen you see the light illuminated areas all uneven on the screen sooo bad. Spend the money and get something better unless is for a bar or a place where you don't care then is a great price.

    Low or No Volume, Ghosting Effect. Horrible!!!

    This 50 inch Toshiba has been nothing but problems for me. Out of the box, the bottom of the TV has a sliver bar going across which takes away from the overall picture. I find myself staring at this silver bar instead of the screen. The sound is just terrible, it's either very low or very loud. The volume does not stay at the set level Picture quality is terrible, images are ghosted all over the screen and there is a real lack of image quality. I was really expecting a lot better from a 4K TV, this unit performs and acts as low quality as expected. You can see the lag and distortion when watching movies or sporting events. I missed the return window to return it and am now stuck with this unit. From now on, I will be sticking with better brands.

    since I got the TV it will kick me out of apps randomly freeze and the screen will just turn black out of nowhere Amazon seems to never know what the issue is Toshiba just keeps telling me to factory reset it but that just made the problem worse. Do not recommend!!!

    I purchased this television for a great price, but I see why. The tv cuts off on its own or either freezes for no reason. I had it two days before it began doing this. I contacted Best Buy which was very helpful in replacing the tv. They brought out a new tv immediately. However, the second tv did the exact same thing. I had to bring the tv back to the store myself. I purchased a LG as a replacement. Do not buy this tv and read the reviews prior to purchasing. This tv is faulty.

    Worst tv ever

    Got To start by saying this is the worst quality control I’ve ever seen by a tv company. First one I got had a terrible burning smell. I suspect it was the glue they use for the screens or the logic board was defective. Second one I got had the stickers they used to protect the screens practically embedded into the screen kinda ruined the screen at this point I was done with this brand. Wich hisense aquired to cover up there bad reputation for lousy TVs. So these are made by hisense and assembled in Mexico. You’ve been warned. Good luck getting a good one
