A: I purchased this model at Best Buy a week ago, and have yet to see any exterior operating controls. So, my assumption/answer would be, no, it can not be turned on or off or operated without the remote, or the cable or satellite receiver remote paired to the tv.
Q: What is the width between each leg of the stand?
A: The width between is 33”, the width including the legs is 35”
A: Hello Toshiba Customer, thank you for your interest in the Toshiba 50C350KU. You are able to set the television to power on to the last used input instead of the Fire TV home screen. To do this, please go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On > Last Input. If you have any further questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-888-407-0396 or email us at [email protected]. Thanks again, Harley with the Toshiba Support Team.
A: I did further research on this and found a setting for "screensaver", which I initially thought was like a screensaver on a computer. It was set apparently by default for 15 minutes. Changing this setting to "never" solved the problem.
Q: What is the width of the stand? I have a 30” table to set the TV on.
A: No it would not fit as the width from leg to leg is 35”
A: Confirm the TV supports bluetooth and you can buy any wireless bluetooth headset and pair it to the TV. The only caveat I can think of is that on my FireStick that I added to another TV recently it did not allow for volume control once paired to the bluetooth, which is a big pain and well documented out there. This being a FireTV it may have that same issue so just something to consider.
A: It's 23 pounds. Easy to lift and move.
Q: Is the screen glass or plastic?
A: Hi Toshiba Customer! This is a Liquid crystal display (LCD) TV. The screen consists of two thin sheets of glass. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-888-407-0396 or send us an email at [email protected]. Thanks Again, Toshiba Support Team
