      I bought this because my hybrid drive failed under warranty; I needed an inexpensive drive to get me through the two weeks or so until I got the other one replaced. It works well and the price was definitely worth not being down for two weeks.

      Toshiba makes great hard drives, and this one was no exception. I bought this as a replacement drive for a laptop whose hard drive had failed. Installation was a snap; configuration and setup went very smoothly, and I had the laptop fully restored in a couple of hours.

      had to replace my internal hard drive on an HP G-42 and had to load the recovery CD`s twice but finally manage to load new info to new drive and so far so good is faster than the previous drive a couple of seconds but is something right.

      Bought to use as an external hard drive. Nice storage capacity (wish I could have gone with the 1tb hard drive). Unlike other hard drives I have, I needed to stop back into geek squad and have them get the hard drive to connect to the computer. Otherwise, it seems to work really well.
