Good Picture, but sound synch problems with apps.

I purchased year ago on a black friday sale, it was a really good price for a 4k smart tv. TV has great picture, I do like the interface for the apps. Now the not so great things. There have been a few occasions where the TV, apps locked up. I couldn't switch or select anything, just froze. So had to unplug to reset. Also have a lot of problems when watching on netflix or other apps with the sound getting out of synch. This part is very annoying, looked up online and apparently is a pretty widespread issue, with info on how to temporarily resolve by going to the apps and clearing the cache and reset to synch the sound back up. this only works temporarily as the memory cache fills up you have to repeat the cycle of clearing the cache over and over again. Not sure if this is primary a Toshiba issue, or problem with the FireTV on any brand TV, but is pretty darn annoying. For just watching cable or satellite tv on HDMI 1, then yes I'd recommend, but for watching on FireTV Apps, no because the sound synch issue is annoying.

Solid TV at the price

The built-in Fire TV functionality is handy, and the quality of the picture is very good. This won't rival a fancy Sony, but at half the cost I'd say it's a very good value. Speakers are so-so, but that's true of every set these days - if you want better, get a decent soundbar and you've got a nice movie setup for a living or game room. Would buy again.
