Picture looks awesome. Seems like a great value. This TV replaced a TCL that lasted just over a year and of course was out of warranty. Hope this isn't the case with a Toshiba. Time will tell but you can't be the prices now a days.

This was the 4th toshiba tv my family has purchased in the last year since being LG fans for the past 10 years. The snappiness of the UI, the amazon app store, and stability of the components is an amazing value for the money. The wireless capabilities are great between the bluetooth connectivity and 5g wifi options. I have a vizio one room over from our wireless router that drops connection on a regular basis, these Toshiba's the other end of our house have never dropped signal and never buffer streamed videos. The sound is good enough, although I would highly recommend a sound bar or something if you are serious about the audio. The image quality is almost as good as my more expensive video and actually gives more control over controlling things like simulated motion blur. I can't praise these TVs enough, you won't find a better value, period

Thing is great the picture sound killing cable eventually once I get the hang of the different remotes that’s the only thing that’s frustrating to me right now is trying to get things to switch but I’m getting the hand handle of it picture quality I went from a regular HD seven year old flat screen smaller TV to this one night and day difference watch the movie with some friends last night that I’ve seen over and over through the years since the 80s it was like re-watching it for the first time ever because of the picture quality and seeing things that you didn’t see beforeThis for a great sales price but I think it would be well worth it for the regular price as well it was packed incredibly well and Best Buy delivery were courteous polite and obeyed all social distancing and mask rules happy happy

I purchased this tv on sale for a secondary television in the bedroom. It was an easy set up from out of the box to viewing. Picture is good and access to all apps is easily managed. Downfall would be the remote but otherwise a solid television.

So far I have bought a couple other Toshiba TVs in the past and have been quite pleased with their performance and the value they offered. The TV seemed to offer the same with the added benefit of the Amazon Fire OS built right in. We have Amazon streaming sticks or cubes on the other TVs so we're fully invested in the Amazon Ecosystem. That being said, we felt like this was a good match. Well, not so much as we'd come to discover. Let's start with the good. This TV has a bright, vibrant picture that will please most. It works great in a brightly-lit room. Motion handling is decent most of the time (more on that later). Most people will find it easy to use, especially if you're already accustomed to the Amazon OS. Now for the bad. The Amazon system performance is terrible. I liken it to the same performance experienced if trying to use a 1st generation Amazon streaming stick to run today's Apps. Sometime's it passable, while other's it's slow and lags. Sometimes you press a button and can count to '3' before you see a visible response to your input. Though Amazon's own apps should perform the best (and they do), even they at times will respond slow or crash altogether during use. Some third party apps are the most problematic, not only from the perspective and responsiveness but also video performance - often presenting with dropped video frames and glitchy audio. Across the board, performance struggles as you turn on dynamic video processing features for motion and backlighting so it's best the leave most turned off. Storage on this TV is minuscule at only 4Gb. I have only been able to load a minimal selection of our most-used apps. I knew this when buying the TV but thought that the ability to add external storage would remedy the situation but it did not - most apps will not allow installation on external storage media. When performance is at its worst, I found that rebooting the TV improves the situation for the most part. All of this being said, I think this TV will work out OK for your if you're light user, stick with the built-in apps and keep a lot of the processing turned off. Toshiba, if you're listening, please incorporate more storage and processing power into the next model! If you do, you will certainly have a leader in this segment!

We ordered a small fire TV for my daughter as a beater and it was pretty fantastic. We figured the big fire TV would do as well and it does. Great picture and great sound easy to use and you just can't beat it for the money.

We bought this TV because the price is decent for the size and being a smart TV. However, waiting for a sale is a much better deal for it. I wish we would have. It does have some glitches. We haven't noticed it in a while, but within the first two months we would be watching a show or movie and pink and green lines would run through the picture. It is a good tv though, the picture quality is great. We think the sound is AMAZING! When watching Netflix we have the volume on 6 or 7. Most movies the sound is on 13 and rarely do we have it above that. The remote is nice having the extra buttons such as Netflix to go straight to it. We have Alexa, but rarely do we use it to work with the TV. It is nice it just tell her to turn the TV off.

We had been watching a 40" HD TV about 10 years old... This Toshiba has been a dream. The picture is very good, crisp colors and easy to use fire already there. Really pays to be a Amazon prime member. The sound is good (up n down volume at times) but like so many other people we'll buy a sound bar. Check your internet speed on the bb website and adjust/update as needed. A big factor for us was the TV's leg placement and fitting our current stand it fit our 42" stand and the tv weighs less than our old one. Very pleased...

Good picture if you’re sitting right in front of it, but MAN there is a huge color shift if you’re viewing it from a 45-90° angle. Also the volume is constantly shooting up or down on its own, no matter which app we use. Originally thought it was one certain app or show but it happens on all of them after using it some more and paying closer attention. I seriously turn the volume up or down at least 3x during any one episode to try and keep it “even” ... randomly gets so quiet or so loud. Pretty disappointing. Otherwise good size and good price... just wish the volume issue wasn’t so drastic!

Great picture with quality sound. Having fire tv makes getting youtube tv a simple task. Getting the tv out of the box was just about the hardest thing there is to do. Within 20 minutes had it working with zero problems.

This TV looks great and is easy to navigate. The Fire TV that is built in is amazingly simple to use. This TV is best for cord cutters as it can be a little cumbersome to navigate between cable and the home Fire menu.

I bought this television because it had fire TV and the picture was up to par with all the others I’d see on display when Id be searching for televisions, the price was reasonable, so I ordered one eventually and brought it home and set it up. The sound really stands out for me. In the post CRT era we’ve gotten better resolutions, Better features and size to weight ratios that are often at least 10 times less heavy, but the sound has always been a sacrifice. But not this unit, the built in speakers are as good as my surround system, Toshiba, once a giant in the industry seems like it’s starting to claw it’s way back up the ladder. My only complaint about this tv is that it doesn’t have any component input.

Can't believe how great the picture is. For $300, a 55" TV with such clarity is hard to beat. Makes me wonder why I spent so much more for the 55" upstairs in the living room?? Set up to wi-fi was simple.

The smart tv has a great picture and sound. I just wish it had more storage for the downloads. Even after removing some apps and resetting. It still shows low storage. But, other than that is a good tv.
