I have had this TV for 3 weeks now and I am thinking about returning it. It has some odd glitches that I just cannot get past. The volume buttons on the remote will not work if you us an optical cable so you have to use 2 remotes. They do work with an HDMI cable however, my sound bar does not play well with HDMI. The quick access menu does not work at all, it did for the first 2 weeks but just suddenly quit working. I called tech support and they said this is a known issue. This may not bother many people but for me this is kind of a deal breaker as I use this TV in my bedroom and I want quick access to the sleep timer. Right now I have to quit watching my show and go into the main menu to set the timer. It just isn't convenient! Other than that it is a nice set the picture is pretty good and I love the fire stick being built in. I did buy 2 of these TV's I will keep the other one for my spare bedroom since I do not use a sound bar or sleep timer in there.

This has been the best TV. The picture quality is great and we love the availability of all our apps.

Good tv, does the job good for the price and easy to use

This TV works great with SlingTV, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Because of Google and Amazon agreements, you have to go to great lengths to get YouTubeTV streaming service which is a Google product. It can be done - there are sites that show you how to change the settings to install Downloader in order to be able to install YouTubeTV. So not sure if I am getting the best picture quality going through this route, but the crispness of the broadcast is not as clear as it was with other full cable-like streaming services.

The Toshiba television was great until just recently it stopped working. I am unsure what caused the television to stop working, but the great news is that it is still under warranty; thus, I still have the ability to replace with another equally great television!

Great value, set up was a breeze and excellent picture and audio.

The overall television has a great picture and size. the only issue I have is it does not have Bluetooth. If you are an Apple user, do not buy the TV. you will not have access to any functionality like screen sharing or airplay. you will need Apple TV to add this functionality. It is integrated with Amazon prime and unfortunately, it does not have all the applications that are available via android or apple. Robust but without Bluetooth it is rendered a nice movie watching screen. Please note that my rating is based on functionality, not on the quality of the images or screen. almost every TV has Bluetooth capability today!

Good quality TV, fast response and convenient remote control options.

I purchased 2 of these last year. I was watching one a few weeks ago and the picture went out. Luckily it was under the year warranty and best buy had to replace it. The geek squad was awesome, and very professional. Overall im happy, but if it was out of warranty I wouldn't have been.

After purchasing this TV last year, we were so pleased we bought second set (43") for another room. However last week it was unable to connect to Internet channels (the other TV was fine), then after an attempt at a factory re-set, it locked up at "CHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE". Remote only turns set on/off, but nothing else. Best Buy technician believes it's a circuit board failure, and not worth sending to Toshiba for repair. Toshiba has not responded to an e-mail. Big disappointment.

Great TV volume. The volume could be a little louder.

It’s an alright TV, but honestly you’re better off buying another 55” TV and a fire stick. The software constantly freezes and makes apps unusable until you do a hard reset of the TV. I do those about 1-3 a week on a good week, a lot more on a bad week. Sometimes the sound cuts completely out until I do a hard reset. Spend a little more on a better TV.

I've been using this TV for the past 3 years now. It gets slower by the day. Picture quality is ok. Sound is not impressing at all. And the worst of all is the issue of low storage even when you have freed up space.

Tv was pretty decent until it just died. DO NOT buy this tv. Turned off the tv one night before bed, as I always do, and woke up the next morning to a dead tv. Would not power on. No light, no sound, nothing. Tired different outlet and cord and nothing. To pay $300+ for an item just to stop working out of the blue is unbelievable and unacceptable. I have a cheap insignia HDTV from like 2012 and that still works today, so its ridiculous that I have not even had this tv for a full year before it just stops working. Shame

Had the TV for 4 years and now wont turn back on. Out the 4 years every 3-4 months we would have to unplug and plug it back to make the vliume reset.

Great TV highly recommend it, no problems after 3 years of use.

Pretty solid TV, really enjoyed the FireTV interface. However, it absolutely could not handle live sports. I had it directly plugged into 1000MBPs fiber internet, and I toggled every advanced picture setting to make sure it wasn't smoothing gone wrong or something, but all live sports were very jumping. Taking back to exchange for a Samsung. Maybe I just had a dud, but as an avid basketball and football fan, I'd much rather watch on our 10 year old Toshiba than this one.

We purchased two of these tvs and one is already out in a little bit over a year. This tv will start having dark screen issues until the image/picture is gone for good. I have read more reviews of consumers who bought this tv and due to the coronavirus they have to be confined at home. Perfect time for a tv to say good bye, right? Picture quality and image depth are better than Insignia's.

LASTED JUST 3 YEARS. TURNS ON BUT NO SCREEN ONLY SOUND.
