My laptop crashed, taking with it much of my music (work data was safe via network backup). When I upgraded to more memory and larger capacity hard drive, I KNEW I needed an external drive. Toshiba Canvio Slim was a fantastic choice!

This external drive is a great investment and has more than enough storage for backing up my files . It pays for itself while my storing files that are accessible in case they are accidentally lost from my computers main drive .

Ive only had the drive for a couple months but it has been reliable and fast. It connects quickly and downloads files fast. I have a Toshiba laptop as well so that might have something ti0o do with them working so well together.

This product was very easy to use. I simply plugged it into the computer, followed the prompts, and had all my files copied that I wanted. The price was very acceptable as well.

Bought this for my wife. She loves it because she doesn't have to bring her laptop in order to retrieve her files. She just bring with her this external drive to work.

I need to back up my files and this item does that for me. The price is reasonable and competitive compared to others out that offer more memory for a higher price or less memory for a lower price. It was affordable and it works for me to do what I need it for.

This my second hard drive I bought so no doubts I like this product. Good qualitiy, slim, easy to carry, and it's last. The best of all its NOT MADE IN CHINA

excellent product is small enough that it feet in your pocket I really like it can fit in anywhere on a bag really secure they give you an extra 10 more gb on the cloud and you can put a password on it loved

I bought this as a secondary backup external drive, but have ended up using it as my primary because it is lighter and smaller than my other one. It also feels very sturdy. I would recommend to anyone.

This was an in store purchase recommended by the sales person...It is small...compact...reliable...does what it is supposed to do. So far so good. No complaints. I would recommend this to anyone...

I wasn't quite certain to purchase this Toshiba hard drive Digital being right next to Western Digital drive which I have experience with. I read the reviews, and looked at the lower price. Love it.

I bought this hard drive to use to expand the fast dwindleing space that is on my Xbox one. It was a simple setup, because the Xbox had great software to easily format the drive to work with the Xbox.

I used the drive to transfer photos from one computer to another. The drive worked just fine and the pictures are now moved. I have not owned this drive for very long so that is why the 4 stars. I cannot state long term life of the drive.

I am by no means a techie so when I go to buy something I've been told I need to buy, I still fret over how confusing and difficult installing and operating it might be. With this hard drive, all i had to do was connect it with the usb cable and read very simple instructions. Bang! it works! It seems to be a little more microsoft oriented than MAC but as an apple consumer since the early 90's, I've come to expect that reality. With this product however, that is easily overcome by its inclusion of MAC instructions.

I had to replace a drive the size of a toaster with this one which is the size of my wallet. I love not having to unplug a power cord and carry around a larger drive when transferring files from the studio to my pc. Files transfer at adequate speeds and the drive is USB powered. I've had no problems yet so I'm standing behind it as a great product at a nice price.

I bought two of these for my kids as I transferred all of our video tapes of them when they were young. These hard drives were perfect.

great little gadget that will transfer your files fast. Purchased to move files while restoring a PC. all was done extremely fast. definitely will recommend to anyone for the price.

Product is fairly easy to set up and use and would be better if it hadn't came with various options of "cloud" storage for purchase when I clearly just bough an $80 item for that exact purpose. Also, here's an interesting concept, why not Wait until some significant time has passed prior to asking me to do a review?! It has only been a few weeks. Can't say I would recommend it and can't say I wouldn't either. Has been great so far, but I have only plugged it in once and have yet to access The information that was uploaded. It may not even work.......so there's my review From having a product 3 weeks post-purchase. You're welcome.

Very nice design, sleek and light. It has a cool led that changes white when plugged into USB 2.0 and blue when plugged into USB 3.0. Loved it but had to get a bigger size fairly soon.

bought to expand memory on my tablet (which has usb). works perfectly, quick, lightweight and great price.
