Good little player but has tuning issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would like to give some detail to the complaints that people are having with the "ease of use". The player is a nice player and the sound is decent for it's size and price. It has a tape player/recorder and seems well built. But it suffers from what for me is a fatal flaw. There is no convenient way to scan the airwaves. There is no tuning knob. Only "tune +/-" buttons which you have to press repeatedly. Stations can be programmed, though, and you can easily step through your programmed stations with +/- keys. That "might" be an acceptable solution except that the play (">") button reprograms the stations you laboriously set up - to the first 20 stations it can find. If you just listen to 1 station, all the time, and you can decipher the instructions, the radio is fine. But I don't think it will work for my family of station surfers.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY!

We planned to use it for CD's but found the radio to be good as well. It has a good sound and have enjoyed listening to certain stations. It's not hard to figure out how to use the function keys. The directions are fine if you have a magnifying light with lights. The print is ridiculously small.
