Really nice machine to play both DVD and VHS.

great device , easy to set up

The store was busy ( Christmas time) and wold have liked some assistance but this seemed to be the only one avail. so I grabbed it. Glad I did.

Awesome product

Very easy to hook up from the TV to the recorder! Saved hundreds of dollars by getting this device! Great product at a great price! Money saving machine! And the space saving from vcr to DVD is tremendous!

did what I wanted dubbing tapes

Had hoped that it would do better playing old tapes onto high HDTV but that was too much to ask. Overall I'm satisfied particularly since there are few if any alternatives.

Great for VHS to DVD conversion
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to convert VHS tapes to DVDs. The machine does need to be hooked up to a monitor or tv. A display is needed to access the menus to run the program to convert the tapes. After about 9 steps you can leave the machine alone to convert and it stops when it is completed. There is an additional step to finalize the DVD that needs to be done after copying that is not explained too well. After figuring out how to work the software it was simple.
