I was looking for a way to transfer all of VHS tapes to DVD. I was very happy to find this product

I have a sizable VHS library to convert and the Toshiba 620 DVR has exceeded my expectations, to this point. After some experience, the remote control is simple to use ( I'm still getting accustomed to having no buttons on the machine, itself !).

Haven't had a chance to use yet, but a relative has one and says it works great and is easy to use.

Could not ask for a better VCR/DVD player at a better price.

MY BAD....I THOUGHT I COULD TAPE T.V. PROGRAMS WITH THIS...AS A DVD PLAYER AND CD PLAYER IT IS FINE.

I use a Sony Digital Handy Cam about twenty years old. I know, right, but I paid a lot of money for the camera so I'm going to get some work out of it. Problem is, no USB, so burning on the PC was out. Enter the Toshiba with just the connections I needed and the ability to record, edit, and burn to DVD. Couldn't be more pleased; I feel like a real movie maker. Heck, I am a real movie maker...

This was a Christmas present for my parents, since they still use tapes and their old VHS machine broke down. Setup was pretty straightforward; it has an HDMI port so you don't need separate audio and video cables.

I love being able to easily make my VHS into DVD's. All it takes is the time to play the VHS in order to get a usable copy of all my old home movies onto a DVD. One warning...this will not record copyrighted materials, which was a disappointment as I would like to make backup copies of a few of my VHS that aren't readily available on DVD.

Bought this to replace the Samsung unit that broke. This unit is a little confusing to learn how to use, but the features are good and the picture quality is good.

made dvd from vhs video and it turned out really well. recommend if your have old videos to copy.

This recorder/VCR combo has performed as advertised. Very easy to operate, I am copying almost 200 VCR tapes, personal and movies, which would cost $5.00 to $10.00 each to have had copied. I also have a good piece of equipment on which to watch DVD's and VCR's (the ones that are copyrighted and can not be copied).
