I am really enjoying having a VHS player to use again. So much fun to watch old movies in our library!

It seems a little complicated to convert VHS to DVD. Tried it a couple of times and nothing was recorded. Not sure why but will keep trying.

Over all, I like it a lot. It seems easy to use. I haven't had the chance to try everything, but so far, I'm very happy with it!

This is very convenient if you own both videos and DVDs. Ot os salso great for transferring home videos to dvd format.

This has been a wonderful purchase. Easy to work with & set up. Records well & plays well too. Would buy it again & recommend to a friend.

This machine is great for transferring your old VHS to DVD, Recording events from TV that you want to keep vs. your cable companies DVR which only save it on their DVR. If you have an older firewire camcorder you can transfer those tape too. It's just a great all in one unit at a reasonable price.

Disappointed I can not record from my television with this product. Have to spend more money to buy yet another item from Dish Network.

I had one of the above which worked just wonderful. The other combo was made by a different manufacturer and wasn't working properly so I ordered another one so I would have two fine working combo by the same manufacturer. Great machine

This is my second unit. worn the VHS part of the first one out. 2 yrs of way above average use.

Best ever dvd/vcr recorder you can buy. Recomend this product..

I had two main reasons for buying this product. One, I needed something to let me finish transfering our old 8mm home videos onto DVD; and two, I wanted to be able to play some of our ancient VHS tapes in our HT room, and possibly copy some of them onto DVD also. So far, it has functioned just fine in those two roles. Build quality seems quite solid with the heavy steel case work that gives the unit some real heft, which I appreciate. It also has an HDMI output on the back and a front panel A/V input. Those two connection options are really nice to have! The HDMI allows easy, one-wire connection to newer a/v receivers, and the front panel A/V let's you easily connect a camcorder for dubbing.

Over all its great. Has many features that is useful. A little confusing to figure out at first.

This is a good product. My only complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand.

using this system to connect to pc for transfer of vhs to dvd. so far has worked flawlessly

Found it very easy to understand. Only issue is it seems to be "running" even when we're not using it. I unplug it to save electricity.

Really works well with all of the grandkids DVDs and Vhs tapes Ease of operation and found no need for instructions. They love it and I love it because it keeps them happy.

Great for those who still have VHS tapes they still want to view or record to DVD. It is very time consuming though as you actually have to let video play to record.

Previous one I had from a different company broke. This one fits my need and works as advertised. I am able to copy from VCR to DVD w/out a problem.

We have lots of VHS tapes and this unit allows us to continue to play them. The picture is great-- better with DVDs, but I expected that because DVD picture quality is much better than VHSs in general. The Geek Squad installed this and some other things I bought, so I can't say anything about ease of set up.
