This product has the ability to perform all the functions I was seeking. In addition the ease of use is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a conversion product.

Great Dual video, my kids can see their VHS movies and see DVD movies as well.

I bought a TV and had it set up by Best Buy. A week or so later I purchased the DVD/VCR combo. The person who intstalled my TV left me a cable to plug into the DVD/VCR when I got it. The cable was already plugged into the TV. When I plugged it into the appropriate outlet on the DVD/VCR I could not get sound.

Easy connection with the HDMI cable. Great picture for the old VHS movies.

Was looking for a device to convert vhs home movies to dvds. Worked fine.

I have been using this product for a couple of months now and the recording quality is really good. I have recorded my vcr tapes and from my 8mm to the dvd and it works really well.

Great computer with a lot of storage for those who take a lot of pictures.

we own 4 of these and use them fairly constantly for recording. the DVDs recorder and playback works great, we never use the VCR, I kind of wish they still sold the ones the were strictly a did recorder.

So far, I have only tried the basic DVD recording and VCR recording; both worked fine. I have not tried the dubbing feature yet. To date, I have had no problems with this unit.

I bought this unit as a "spare" since VCRs aren't being made anymore & I have lots of movies not on DVD yet. Plus, I still use my other unit ( same as this ) daily to record shows. Good unit, but at this price it should have a tuner like my old one did ( that cost less ). NOBODY offered to help me, again, at the store. Good thing I knew where to look for this. The cashier was very nice and smiled when he said thaks for shopping at Best Buys today.

Needing to replace both an older DVD recorder and a broken VHS recorder, this device met my needs perfectly and for less than I paid for either of the original recorders.

Ultimately I was looking for the combo and this was it! Thanks!

Copy my OLD movies onto DVD's. READ ALL the reviews and watch closely. It still took me about 11 iterations to get it all down pat. It is about a 34 step process - but goes very smoothly once you get it down. The manual is a little over 100 pages - but it does many things that I did not intend to do. This is why many folks say that the information is difficult to follow. It is a fantastic bit of technology and can do lots of neat stuff.

This a very good product, I've enjoy using this machine. I would buy another one. I like best buy. I will continue shopping there in the furture.

this combination product is simple to use and provides a good picture. I recommend this to anyone.

I was actually in the market for just a DVD/VHS player. This does that as well as convert my VHS family recordings on to DVD's. This is great, as one day these family treasures will no longer be able to be played due to the lack of VHS players in the marketplace.

I bought this item when a power surge took out my older unit. It has replaced the capability I had formerly with the newer HD capability and I have been enjoying the results.

I norm can't run electronics this was easy to hook up and run?

This unit replaced a Panasonic that I couldn't get repaired. The Toshiba has most of the same features except flex record which would use the whole disc, no matter the record time.Also this machine can't be stopped from a timed recording if there is any disc error, you have to wait until time is up. other wise a good machine that produces good recordings even on VHS.

I would recommend this product to the beginner videographer.
