I enjoy the ability to record programs, view dvd's and to record vcr tapes to dvd's.

It is a good looking easy to use and hoop up. The remote is easy to use. It is easy to switch between the VCR and the DVD player. The functionality of the remote is to operate.

I HAVE TWO OF THESE SAME RECORDERS AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH EITHER OF THEM I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONY LOOKING FOR AN ITEM LIKE THIS

My husband loves this he is in the middle of putting tapes onto DVDs.

This DVD/VHS is a good transition unit short of complete HDTV capability. It is relatively hard to find these units anymore.

Overall worth the price. I do recommend taking extra time to you-tube videos and instructions from previous users. Most helpful in setup.

Easy to set up and use... Great HD definition and color. Records easily and well when transferring VHS to DVDs. Price was higher than I wanted to pay but happy overall.

This is the only unit left that has VHS and DVD record-ability. I own two and like them both. The first one I have had for two year and still working fine. In the past I have found that other brands start having a problem with the DVD reader.

I needed it to back up some older VHS tapes to DVD. And it does just that. The instructions actually help and don't confuse too much. The only issue I had deals with tracking. I was able to adjust the tracking to watch a movie but then tried to back it up and the tracking doesn't work. But I will live. And bestbuy does pricmatching so that's cool.

Works well once I figured out the directions. I was trying to copy VHS to DVD. After no luck in 2 hrs and one call to customer service without a workable response I went on line and found someone else with the same issue and were kind enough to post the solution on line. The directions from the manufacturer or simply WRONG and will never work for this particular function.

I purchased this unit to copy tapes to dvd. I followed the directions, and got nothing but frustrated. Called geek squad for assistance and did not receive any. I will try again, and maybe improve my review, or not.

One of the few made yet. 2017 and it still works. We have a few VHS to convert to DVD. I know, DVD is also getting obsolete.

It has a tracking function that you can use while recording old videos. Awesome feature and overall easy to use.

The cases are kind of flimsy and break easily. The plastic is not that study however, I like the fact that they are colored so that I can differentiate between the various subject matter that I insert into the cases.

hd to return this product because we could not connect it to our older TV . We should have hired the geek squad to install it. The good thing was that we were able to return the product with no problems.

It works fine for dubbing from VCR to DVD, but lack of a tuner doesn't make it worth the money.

Performs all functions that I expected. Best Buy matched my internet price as they advertise.

Love it. I can burn DVDs of my favorite shows and edit out the commercials. I love it I can also play my movies on VHS. Good quality machine for the price.
