There was no way to hookup mu TV to view in HDMI. nor any coaxial connection.

Very satisfied with this product. Works as described. Outstanding image reproduction. Ignore the manual and just play with it.

I have enjoyed the product . My concern is if I lose my receipt will I be able to get repairs as I bought an extended warrenty.

This is an interesting product that does what I want it to do - record pre-recorded video to DVD and convert old VHS tapes to DVD. And yet, I feel I'm missing something because the instructions are so convoluted and 'non-intuitive' that I have that sneaking feeling that I'm missing out on product features. For example, the Quick Start Instructions will show you how to record a DVD - but if you want to play the DVD on another device it fails to tell you that you have to "finalize" the DVD. Those instructions are buried deep in the more detailed "User's Guide" - and I do use that term advisedly. Good Luck!

I make a point of keeping legacy equipment, and this Toshiba unit is perfect for VHS as well as DVD playback and recording. It fits in nicely as a component with our existing system.

It was the best thing i bought and it is working great for me and being able to tranfer some of my movies over to dvd

Needed a vcr/dvd unit for our spare bedroom / bonus room. This unit is perfect. It up-converts the old vcr tapes and makes them look fantastic. DVD is exactly what you would expect. No complaints here!

Has connectivity problems with Samsung TV's. I dont know if it is a HDMI issue but it will not always turn on

I used this to convert all my old camera footage to DVD. Took a while but it worked perfectly!

Works beautifully. Very happy with it! Only problem is that the remote is a little hard to read - letters are so small.

We purchased this because of twin 4 year old grandchildren and a large library of children's VHS tapes. Works well to play the VHS tapes and we are looking forward to using the DVD/DVR functions

Amazing product for people who still want to watch or record on vhs and also record from vhs to DVD

Due to it being older technology and seems a bit complicated,I have not yet attempted to use this. I have also acquired another device that is very simple and records the VHS digitally.

I had a short amount of time to convert 9 hours of VHS tapes to DVDs. The converter was easy to set up and within an hour we were up and running.
