Combo Unit DVD/VCR

I haven't played a lot of movies yet, but it works great so far. Toshiba is a trustworthy name. Previous reviews sold me on it.

I will be contacting the company as per the directions in the user guidebook. I'll be happy to review the item properly after I contact Toshiba. At this point, I would not recommend this unit, but that could change in the future.

I needed a HDMI output so that my setup could remain wireless and this was the only unit that met all of those needs. I got great assistance by the Best Buy team who directed me to this unit.

We can play all our CD's and videos on it including my husband's collection of videos of his race horses racing. Its a collection with many memories we wouldn't want to lose due to changes in technology. Thank you.

An extra VCR

In store clerks told us you could transfer VHS to DVD(record to DVD) with this one machine when it really required external device to play VHS for recording on this machine.

Posted .Thank you for the review, Mayne, but this product actually does support both dubbing (copying) from VHS to DVD and from DVD to VHS. Keep in mind that retail movies are often copy protected in ways that prevent them from being dubbed on consumer electronics equipment.
