This product is too complicate to use & my DVD's won't record.

Your description of this produce was misleading. The product could not be used to record television programs without a tuner. I returned the product to the nearest Best Buy, where even the help there was with little knowledge.

I am hoping I can get the device hooked up correctly and use it. I have spent several hours so far and not much luck. Discouraged!!

Not sure of functionality yet as it bought as a present

The HDMI out port didn't work reliably...I used many different cables and sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I tried many different ports on my TV as well...it was def the item. Sad...I was looking forward to using it...but I'm not going to take the chance with another one...

Little pricy in its catogary,no HDMI outlet, no USB

Little too expensive. Still haven't used dvd recorder part yet

I bought this after my 15 year old Sony finally died. This was the ONLY choice at the store. Out of the box problems started when I couldn't change the record speed for the VCR. ;All the controls are on the remote. I then tried a timed recording on the DVD recorder and that never happened. I tried to play a DVD and couldn't get the unit to work either with the remote or the buttons on the unit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Cannot set this up to use! Studied instructions and still can't figure it out. I was told in the store that it would be easy.

The sales people said it would be very easy to set up and it is not. Being fir I called the toll free number and no human answered just a recording and I have not follow-up up with an email to them...

Geek came in my home said he be here 5 min did't no a thing about dvr 620 I said $120 for a service call said I don't get any of that did't know how to set clock said there was none I set it a few day later he put a disc + tape in set wrong speed 33% of tape did't not record set 1 thing on TV gone in less than 20 min not the expert service stated in your email I still don't no nothing about the dvr620 total waste of my money just collecting dust. He acted like he did'nt want to be in my home.Could not be the best you have?Book is 109 pages better start reading.

I liked the set up and ease of use but the product no longer functioned properly after 2 weeks of moderate usage

Your salesmen are not familiar with this product. It did not meet my needs. I do not have a cable box & even with the box the Geeks brought to me the product would not work.

at 70 yrs old, wanted a simple player to play both vhs and dvd. This product was complicated to use. Struggled with ejecting a tape. The machine destroyed several vhs tapes as the tape got caught in wheels. No other device at best buy had both playback for VHS and DVD. Package enticement not enough to determine effectiveness. Thanks to Best Buy's return policy.

It does the job being used more for a VHS player then for the recorder from VHS to DVD that I wanted it for.

I am now very frustrated, my 15 day return period is up and I can't get this unit to work, when I call for help I am told to find the answer on you tube.

Won't play DVDs from out of the country thought that's why I bought this and to convert VHS tapes to DVDs but have to watch every movie to do so in live time really?...godfather boxset, I hmm probably just Netflix go get it from the library or buy it again who has the time if you can figure it out. Probably going to return it, I can buy ten VHS players for the money I bet.

This has no internal tuner and requires additional products to make it work. I called everyone in town and finally called the manufacture, they all told me that an external tuner was not made for this product. I finally took it back and bought a DVR.
