The recorder was easy to set up and use. Husband misses his show while working. I am able to convert my vcr recording of his show for him to view later on his dvd player.

I have played new and old DVD's and videotapes in this player and it has handled the tasks splendidly. I am about to record all of my old personal tapes to DVD. Had to have the HDMI connection. Great product!

Bought this to replace an old similar unit. The old one wouldn't always recognize blank disks. No such problems with this. Works great, 1080p conversion works great even old VHS recordings look great

The only issue that I had was a very small one. You cannot lose the remote or you will be in trouble. You cannot switch from DVD to VHS mode without the remote. There is no switch on the box. Other than that it worked great. My uncles borrowed it from me for there family videos. I wish it could do a faster write speed for DVDs. But like I said. As advertised.

I still want something to play and record VHS as well as DVD… this works.

Best Buy Geek Squad installed the unit which has fit in seamlessly with the other home theater components. We are enjoying playing our collection of VHS cassettes, as well as DVDs. The unit also records easily.

I had a Toshiba DR420 that was great until it did not record properly and I bought the new DR620 that actually was able to save previous recordings.

I am so happy with this product, it has helped me convert my collection of 1800 VHS tapes that took up more than 600 square feet of wall space to a mere 90 square feet. What a great thing to have , should have thought of this earlier. I was able to keep the movies that my late father and I watched more than 30 years ago.

I have used the VCR recorder and it worked just fine. I have not yet tried to use the DVD recorder.

I work at a library digitizing old media, so I bought four VCRs and I use them almost daily to capture old VHS tapes. The quality is good, the VCR is solid and it works great. Since I play a lot of old tapes, I got a lot of dirt on the VCR head, and the cleaning tapes would not clean it. I had to open the VCR and clean it myself (I wouldn't recommend anyone doing it unless you know what you are doing). I researched which VCR to buy, and I found that this on was one of the most reliable I found, and the price was good too.

We have converted a lot of VHS tapes to disc and this machine has not skipped a beat. Picture quality from VHS to disc did not suffer. Easy to use product.
