    I was replacing an old IBM Thinkpad drive so my daughter could use it for school. Speed is great. Price was fine. My daughter most large items in the cloud so the space was reasonable for the price.

    We picked this up to see how it performed under load and it was acceptable but not stellar for the cost. We don't have enough of these to say for sure but I'm assuming it is reliable as I've had good experiances with Toshiba and so far it is running fine in test.

    I liked the performance boost for the price so much in fact, that I bought a 2nd for another computer. After upgrading a computer's memory, a faster hard disk drive or solid state drive is the next best performance upgrade to make an old computer seem like new.
