A: No cable, any SATA ext. cable will work. Just installed it on Satellite P855-S5200. All my programs transferred complete with no problems.

A: I can't answer definitively but this drive does come with a 2mm spacer, in case the 7mm of this drive is too short.

A: It can mechanically displace any 2 1/2 " drive; what you have to make sure for some older laptops is that the address capability, e.g. the Toshiba Satellite T135 cannot accept drive capacities above 320GB.
