No cable, any SATA ext. cable will work. Just installed it on Satellite P855-S5200. All my programs transferred complete with no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put a Samsung SSD in a Toshiba A665 and had not problems with the fit. The Samsung SSD seems the same size as the Toshiba SSD. I was able to transfer licenses of Windows 8 and Office 2007.

Keep in mind your Satellite must have a SATA Interface (Preferably SATA3 for best performance). It does not include any cables or the software to transfer. However, Toshiba does provide free software for you to download that will handle your migration to the SSD and yes, its free (no cable though). Moving your OS and programs will not impact your licensing. Obviously, you need to use the same laptop...but no impact
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No cables came with it when I bought it. I purchased a SATA and IDE bridge adapter a while back so I just used that. If you don't have one I highly recommend you purchase one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have installed this in two different Toshiba laptops - both were running Windows 7 - you need to buy a cable to transfer (CLONE) the drive - Best Buy has a good one that comes with software for about $30 - You have to make sure you clean your old hard drive if it is bigger than 200GB or so - to keep all things working - you must CLONE the disk - not just copy it. A clone will copy everything including license info. When you are done the computer will boot once and re-license the new driver requiring a re-boot and then you are ready to go.
