I am extremely happy with this purchase! Put in a desktop I built myself, with a Core i5 processor and 12GB or RAM, I have noticed a marked improvement in speed. Would totally buy again for future systems.

This harddrive performs as expected for a SSD. it is fast and to the point.

Fast SSD... installed in only old pc... works like a charm

Its has improved the speed and efficiency of my laptop. It consumes less energy, and provides me longer user time.

I was impressed with the speed and reliability of this drive. Will definitely buy this series again.

I would definitely recommend this drive as a HDD replacement in a desktop or laptop. The price/performance ratio is great on this drive.

1) My first drive I purchased stop installing windows halfway though so I figured maybe some wires were loose so I rewired my whole system to no avail. I even gutted my brothers system for his dvd drive since my own was a few years old and yet windows would not completely install. 2) I returned the drive for another exact one and again I had the same issue so I took a nap while I let the install continue and finally windows installed AFTER 3 hours. 3) After installation I notice that my windows boot up was actually slower then before I had a Samsung 470 64gb as my main drive. Upon doing windows experience index my system score decreased on primary disk data transfer rate from 6.9 to 5.5 4) Went through 2 drives and still running the one while writing this rating and I am absolutely not satisfied and intend to return this tomorrow and get a SanDisk SSD. I installed one of those on my brothers system last month and it took 10 minutes to stall windows and the data transfer rate index is 7.8 on it. Final impression If your changing over from a conventional drive then there is some improvement but if your updating from another SSD this drive is not it

This HD is great if you're looking to upgrade your HDD. I installed it on my 2009 model Dell desktop. Even though my Dell is SATA II, it still gave me a great improvement everywhere (boot time, program access, etc.) Highly recommend.

Good price, average difficulty for transferring operating system and programs from old drive. I have been using this drive for over a year, and it still works great.

The NTI Echo cloning software failed to properly copy the drive data over to the new SSD. The worst part is that it believed it had completed the process correctly and wiped my MBR and possibly other necessary data on the original drive. For some reason I'm unable to repair the drive using my installation disc as it's not recognized as the same version of Windows...meaning it probably doesn't recognize windows on the drive at all. When I start the installation anew with the disc it recognizes the drive with the repartitioned area that was created to run a direct copy from the original system drive to the new SSD. Buyer beware. The drive is great if you're going to run a new install but the NTI Echo cloning SW can fail. As a recommendation after a successful installation has been completed, move page file(s) and anything else making constant writes off the SSD drive and have them run on a standard hard drive. It didn't work. The software didn't run in Windows like Samsung software.
